The worst of B&M inverts is more enjoyable to me than any of the other companies inverts I have ridden. Every park should have an invert. Hence, every park should have a B&M!

Besides, B&M have yet to make a "bad" coaster (though Vortex Carowinds was close..)

the Vortices were both very forgettable....(or maybe I've just forgotten how good they really were, lol). PGA's Top Gun was pretty good setting-wise, theming, etc., but a *solid* Beemer. TG:TJC was a great ride, one of the best inverteds. I'd be pretty surprised to see a B&M show up at PKI, but not as much if one appeared in Virginia....have yet to visit PCW.
The first thing that came to my mind was Top Gun the Jet Coaster. I love that ride. One of my fav B&M inverts. I'm glad it wasnt left out.

KI, KD, and CWo have 12 coasters, I think the largest collection that doesn't include a B&M. KI needs a really good signature steel coaster. Face/Off, Flight of Fear, and Top Gun are clones. I LOVE Vortex but most people think of it as old news. The other 4 are kiddie / family rides. They could use a nice new custom steel and I'm sure B&M would be happy to do it for them.

Why's that? Just curious

What is PKI's Top Gun a clone of?

hmmmm.sort of a concept I have about PKI is that they try very hard to remain "fresh, original", even....unique....with their rides....

Racer, Beast, SoB, FoF, Vortex......even TR:TR.....I see B&M as improving the existing technology more than going "out on a limb" creating new and different concepts...

Of course, just because I said that - I'm sure they've ordered a Ga Scorcher clone for KC's old spot......j/k, I'm sticking with my original thought of the ArrowBatic/Inverted mouse for KC's old spot, even though those "in the know" seem to be suggesting a non-coaster ride in that spot.....the signs mean NOTHING as far as I'm concerned....

bill, who knows very little but has a guess for everything.....

Vortex at PCW is an Arrow Suspended that is a clone of Top Gun at PKI. Paramount has too many different coasters named Top Gun or Vortex... ;)

My two favorite coasters are named Superman.

I think PKI should install an Invert B&M. The park is totally in need of that in my opinion.

As far as PKD is concerned I just didn't like the park when I visited. It made me appreciate SFGAM's coaster selection so much more. Now if we could just get a Flying Eagles.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see a Paramount park build a B&M in the upcoming year or two. Maybe parks are realizing B&M's are usually worry free and will pay the higher cost now to save future heartache when their new, spiffy ride is closed 5 months (or three days, LMAO) after it opened.

Just a guess from someone who doesn't know anything. Hope I'm right.

The only B&M's I really can think of that PKD would put in from B&M, would be a Standup, Floorless, Sitdown, Flyer or Vertical Drop. A hyper is possible, but people will associate a PKD hyper with Apollo's Chariot. I doubt there will be any huge improvements for PKD next year though, that Gyro Drop is expensive as can be. The gyro drop is almost 2 times the diameter of a normal Gyro drop, so more steel = more money.

Here's my guess

Standup and standard looping(including floorless)

Kings Island, Kings Dominion, and Wonderland already had standups when B&M came around they also had arrow mega loopers when B&M came out with the floorless rides(notice carowinds and pga doesn't have these either)

Inverted

Kings Island has nearby competion from Raptor at Cedar Point so they want to be different in their rides choices

Kings Dominion nearby competition from Alpengeist at BGW and B&M didnt quite fit thier idea for what Volcano should be

Wonderland I don't know why the built a vekoma instead of B&M maybe it was a money or land issue

Hypers Dive Machines and Fliers

These look to be the most likely B&M's to show up in the paramount parks that don't already have one also with the Togo standups being taken down there's always a chance they could get one of those someday
