No B&Ms @ Paramont parks??

Forgive me if this has been discussed before but I just wondered why it is that none of the Paramont parks have B & Ms? My trip to PCW made me wish for a nice B & M in that beautiful park!

But PKI and PKD have yet to get one, hopefully soon.

I sure hope PKD gets a B&M seeing as how it's the only other park I visit.

As long as either PKD or SFA gets a beemer then I'll be one happy rider.

Paramount's Great America
- Vortex (1991)
- Top Gun (1993)

Paramount's Carowinds
- Vortex (1992)
- Top Gun The Jet Coaster (1999)

Now why is no park complete without a B&M? I have never understood because there are better rides out there although I love B&Ms.

Paramount built 3 of the first 4 B&Ms to ever built.

Beleive me, no one wants to see that more than myself. Sadly, I don't think it will happen (Definetly not next year, one can only hope for later).

No big coaster at PCW till 2005.......

Why does it matter if a park has a B&M? There are other, better companies out there. Everyone overhypes B&M. I'd take a woodie or Schwarzkopf before I took a B&M.

Schwarzkopf is out of business though :(

Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?

Teenage Ninja, technically Schwarzkopf is not out of business. Anton's son currently owns the company and still makes coasters, just not at intenese as Anton's originals.

But someday maybe!

That hurts, I would probably forget about Carowinds too though;)

Sorry--did mean to 'forget" Carowinds and PGA....it is just that they are a little far from Michigan :)

The Shy One: I LOVE Schwarzkopfs too but unfortunately I don't think we will be seeing any new ones (wouldn't mind more reinstalls of old schwarzkopfs closer to me though!)
