No BeastBuzz for 2007

There might be some newbies that don't know what an elfen pinwheel is. Better show them at... coasterimage.com

I there anyone who uses these forums on a regular basis that's not familiar with [deep voice] coasterimage.com [/deep voice] though?

No? What's that then?

From the staff here at Kings Island Central, we want thank the fine folks at Coasterbuzz for having so many wonderful Beastbuzz events. It's always a yearly highlight. Can't beat that scavanger hunt... literally!

Aww. That's the one event (coaster-wise) I look forward to every year. Now I MUST get down to HW again.
This isn't a veiled attempt to come up with something like "Son of BeastBuzz" is it? God help us.

Seriously, I'll miss that event and I hope it makes it back on the calendar in '08.

Bring on the Coasterbuzz Fall Affair!

This is a bummer. I was actually able to get the time off the attend this year:(.

Oh well, maybe next year.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I was ready for this year and I really hated not being in attendance in 06. It seems Joe and the Gang didn't need me as it turned out.

Lets start planning BeastBuzz 08...

Hey Lumpy,

We could always plan our own event. :)

And hey, we would automatically win any scavenger hunt (being the only team). :)

Guess who's back? Back Again? James K's back. Tell a friend.

Back to BeastBuzz... there are PLENTY of other cool events to attend, ya know?
None of them can beat BeastBuzz. And not just because we had a keg.

Although a keg is a good thing (depends on the kind of beer, though), I'm not sure of that claim. How many other events have you been to?

Doesn't matter. How many BeastBuzz's have you been to? Every last one was among the best for me.

Yeah, I guess it would be pretty hard for most clubs to beat last year's BeastBuzz--Two walkback tours (The Beast and SOB), five rides with ERT--Avatar, Flight of Fear, The Beast, Drop Zone, and Delirium, a full picnic, plenty of free game tickets for the different gaming areas (I swear I almost made the same long-range basketball shot that Rob did from MTV's Rob & Big show), plus a chance to win prizes if you completed the scavenger hunt which several teams did.

It was almost too many things to do in one day. I had several gaming tickets left that I would've liked to use as I normally don't play games of chance, and my friend missed out on several coasters because we got so engrossed in conversation with other people at the picnic pavillion. Oh well, I guess he's the lucky one (?) since he got to ride SOB in its original incarnation for the last time.

I haven't been to any Beastbuzz events but you haven't been to events other than Beastbuzz, so let's agree that neither of us are in a position to make any claims?
That kind of sucks, last year's was so much fun I was really looking forward to going again this year. Oh well, hopefully we can have BeastBuzz again in 08.

Uh... I've been to dozens of events. BeastBuzz has always been my favorite. How is my favorite even up for debate?

I've been to a number of events and BeastBuzz was the one I looked forward to most. Last year's keg got some damage done to it. Our little group made sure of that. :-)

I'd still go out there for just a meeting date for a group of Buzzers. ERT and such is cool, but it's really about the good Buzzers getting together and having fun -- perks or not.

Lumpy, you were missed, but I think a revisit at HW could be the plan. Get "Team Draggin' Bottom" back together for a flume ride or two? ;-)

Oh Yes... Team Draggin' Bottom...

The sweet sounds of a river raft at it's capacity...$10
The wave of a full flume boat splashing down at the bottom of a drop...$20
The HW ride op needing to dry his Converses out...Priceless

Not only was there a keg, it was almost bottomless. Joe C. and I (and a couple others) stayed well past our meal time, making good use of the keg. Even Jeff was long gone by then. In fact, we stayed so late we ended up helping the park crew clean up our area, kind of as an apology for staying so long. (Truthfully, it was the only way the area supervisor would let us keep drinking. lol)

Good Times.

They Never should have let us drink that much. :) Easy 10-12 beers each or more, in decent size glasses.

Maybe a few of us should get together this year, rent a pavilion, and buy a keg. We could call it beast'BUZZED'! ;)
