We'll hopefully pick it up again next year.

...but I understand.
I missed last year's event, but the prior year was the single longest continuous day I have ever spent in any park ever.

I don't know if I'd spend a week there (it's hard enough blowing more than 4 or 5 hours), but geez, cut me some slack. :)
We've visited the park 3 of the last 4 seasons, they used my photos on their website for a couple of seasons and I let them have photos for their postcards.
Me & CLP are tight. ;)
Still don't think they have long to live or that they're a viable business anymore, but...
Hey! Why are we discussing this in the BeastBuzz thread!?
We should be mourning the loss of one of the coolest events around.

Back to BeastBuzz... there are PLENTY of other cool events to attend, ya know?
KI is the last park on the trip, and Saturday was an option if Friday fell through. In reality though, I don't think I could survive another BeastBuzz!:) In restrospect, it's probably a good thing we didn't have a schedule ahead of time. Getting there before 9 a.m. in the morning for the Beast walkback tour after being up until 2:30-3 a.m. in the morning trying to find a motel/hotel room would not have been fun.
Granted, had I known what I know now--"reasonably-priced" hotel/motel rooms being almost impossible to find the night before, 40,000 people in a park on one day, massive traffic jams just to get into the park from either side of the freeway, leaving even earlier so we wouldn't have missed the registration check-in, it wouldn't have been so stressful.
And anyone even seriously attempting the "quiz" (treasure hunt doesn't sound right) should check their sanity at the door! It should've said "PKI-locals only" at the top of the sheet!:)
Paddle Faster! I hear banjo music.

Nice anti-leech image. Care to try that one again? ;)
I there anyone who uses these forums on a regular basis that's not familiar with [deep voice] coasterimage.com [/deep voice] though?
