The Chinese theme goes with ninjas. Either way though that area is themed to Warner Bros Studio Backlot so the resteraunt is just coincidence.
Well, not to be too much of a stickler...well, I guess it is pretty sticklity, but ninjas are Japanese, not Chinese.

Unless something drastic changes the only new things next year are a new restaurant to replace McDonalds and probably a few new shows.

And about the getting anything big, read the article posted on the other forum about Six Flags 3rd quarter spending. I think it would be nice if SFSTL could wait another year for something big and simply work on park atmosphere, such as friendlier and more energetic ride ops and food service people. Paint job on Eagle and overall cleanliness of the park. Get more for your buck sort of thing.
As far as SFStL getting anything the next season, cross your fingers that a ride gets rotated to the park, as that may be the only way we'll get something. (or you could enjoy the new coaster across the state and the expansion at CC at the bottom of the state).
Just a couple of G-Force junkies!

I kept hoping it would wind up somewhere in the Northwest... it was fun. Guess it has deteriorated since, but then, it's a Vekoma - that's what they do.

Great, then we can get those ridiculous segments on the local news like we got with Excalibur: "The troubled past of Six Flag's new ride!" And it wasn't even sweeps week.
BTW, where did this rumor start?
Also, it's Xcalibur.
If practice makes perfect but noone is perfect, then why practice.

bill, picked up a Mindbender shirt on Passholder day, and thinks Ninja would be a much better choice for removal than Screaming Eagle, one of the best John Allens...still not as good as GASm-I, though...;)
The Ninja crew always seems cool about rerides too. Whereas the Eagle crew seems content in making you walk the 3 miles to reride even with no one in the staion. Eagle has some cool retro lookin' designed T's, but I can't pull off retro chic.
It might not be the black belt of coasters, but its better than the River King or the 'ol Railblazer was, and I would hate to see it go without a suitable sitdown steel replacement.
Im with you guys: Paint the frikkin Eagle! It's kinda exciting that it looks like its gonna fall over when you're goin up the lift hill, but a new coat of bright white would be even better than the cheap thrill. I know its gotta be a pain but come on, its gonna be 2004, the fairs anniversary, the theme of the entrance! The whole park could use a facelift. I mean you can barely tell when you've left one area and entered another. I mean Excalibur was done so nicely, it made me wonder how nice it would be if the whole park had such a nice treatment.
Ok, so my post is kinda "ranty." I apologize.
