Next Movie to become a Ride?

I can see the following happening in the future:

Harry Potter at a 6Flags park

Lord of theRings at whoever buys the rights

The Scorpian King at IOA

-----------------
WHAT'S THE MATTER COLONEL SANDERS? CHICKEN!?

I think Lord of the Rings would go great at BGW but it will never happen.
I say The Matrix at at Waner Brothers Movie World. It would be like a Spiderman simulator.
I'd love to see something based on the Star Wars Universe other then that outdated simulater at MGM.

Excalibur Crew for 2002!

I say George Lucas should make not just a Skywalker ranch... but an entire themepark. I could see him creating a 200+ acre park from scratch with characters, scenes, and such from all Lucasarts products including Indy Jones, Star Wars (the star attraction), and famous games that were created by Lucasarts (Grim Fandago?)

It wouldn't attract just geeks of his films, but people all over the world... and it'd have seperate themed areas, which is what's needed now-a-days.

Blade...haha...I wish!

Hey Busch could make a park themed to middle-earth. With that the theming is unlimited, there is alot of room to work there.

Montu, God Of Coasters

Raging Bull, Don't Fight It, Ride It

dont know if its finished, but the mummy returns is a haunted house/ tomb at universal.blade would rock. however someone should make a deal with capcom and prduce a mib like re

If your really evil in this life, do you come back as toilet paper????
ladies and gentlemen, due to an increase in line jumping, people caught cutting in line will no longer be ejected from the park. u will be ejected from the ride

The Mummy maze is open at USH and it is very cool. In fact, it is one of the best haunted houses that I have ever experienced, including those at Knotts Halloween Haunt.

I am sure that the Universal parks will continue to work with the Mummy franchise.

I would like to see anyone tackle a Lord of the Rings ride, preferably an epic dark ride like Indiana Jones, going through the forests and caves and battling all of the cool creatures from Lord of the Rings...

The IoA/USF folks did say Scorpion King, and they're supposed to be looking at 3 new "attractions", but they say a lot of stuff...and the new attractions were contingent upon attendance this quarter...

Any resemblance between this post and humor is purely coincidental. No robots were harmed in the filming of this episode...The sarcasm filter default has been left ON for your enjoyment.

Well, the next one is Scooby Doo's Spooky Castle at Warner Bros. Movie World Australia. It opens in about two months.

I can't see a Harry Potter ride at a Six Flags park, the reason is Warner Bros own the rights to the movie version of . Contrary to popular belief, Warner Bros has not much to do with Six Flags any more, other than a few deals here and there, the rights to the Looney Tunes etc. Six Flags aren't about to purchase any more Movie rights any time soon. In fact, I can't think of any movies, other than the DC Character movies, that Six Flags have themed rides around.

The Matrix will come to a Movie World some time soon. Expect a Vekoma or B&M Flyer, or even more "Matrix-y" a 4D. No park is going to spend that absurd amount Universal did on Spiderman, especially when you can get something which exists in a more physical form (mind you, Spiderman is that missing link I guess between "fake" and "real", and certainly nothing to be ashamed of) for considerably less. Heck, you could put in 10 of practically anything else on the coaster market before you've come anywhere near Spiderman's cost.

So what if the best coaster in Australia is a second hand Arrow?

Hellraiser, The Ride. That would make a very cool coaster dark ride. Have it be about the 3rd movie, Hell On Earth.

Beer, my soon to be wife, coasters, and the FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Is this a great country or what!!

I think X-Men the Ride would be totally cool! They could have the sliding high tech doors for the que, and the station, the control room. I think it could be a great B&M floorless or something else made by B&M. Possibly, a 4th Dimension coaster? ;)

How about a dueling coaster.... Pride and Prejudice. The sides could be named Lizzy and Mr. Darcy, and the dueling would symbolize the fickle, hidden love between them.

heh. That would make my wife happy anyway. Especially if there was a life-size cutout of Colin Firth in the queue. :)

He let the contents of the bottle do the thinking; can't shake the devil's hand and say you're only kidding.

A Spiderman coaster would be pretty awesome.

Paramount should add Star Trek rides to their parks. Ive always wondered why they never did... They have Star Trek: The Experience at Las Vegas but nothing to do with Star Trek in any of their theme parks, Carowinds should build one! ;)
I can only see Scooby doo for six flags parks, Matrix and Harry Potter for Warner Bros. Movie World parks.
X-men or Spiderman would be cool
