New Year's Resolutions?

What's everbody's New Year's Resolutions; coaster related or not?

Mine is to stop saying lol all the time. Doubt it'll last longer than a week but oh well. :)

I'd like to lose 35 pounds and try to stop being mean to people behind their backs. Although the first should be easier.

2003 will be NOTHING like 2002.

get my sixpack back.....Oh how I miss thee :(
lose some weight... those lap bars and OTSR's were getting tighter by the end of the season.

Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"

I need to stop badmouthing people behind their backs. Ive been doing much less than I used to, but I unfortunately still do it.

I don't make resolutions, per se, but I really would like to try to reflect my Christian faith more at work. I think my sarcastic attitude kinda counteracts that sometimes....

As far as coaster-related, mine would be opposite of most people's I'm sure, but it's to plan a vacation with my wife where coasters are not involved at all! In the past three years we've gone to Hershey, Vegas, L.A., Chicago and San Diego, and we rode coasters each time. And she's getting impatient with it. So I'm thinking someplace with lots of sand and water and no theme parks in sight. :)

I'd like to get my track record to 300, and I'd like to start working out more.

There, one coaster-related, and one not ;)

Not that I ever HAD 'Tuan's *six-pack*....more likely the OTHER kind...;). But yes, more better exercise is a goal. (I also don't partake in the whole *Resolution* fiasco).

As for coaster-related, 300 isn't a reasonable goal for me, but *still more travel* is in the cards, and 250 is a reasonable goal for the coming year. Getting Jill more non-coaster time on these vacations would probably be a good goal too, since she's not in *our league*...;)

edit: I'd also like to find another word for *GOAL*, since I'm strarting to sound like Andres Cantor.....

Here's a weird one: Gain 30 pounds. Yes that's right, I want to get fatter. I already look like a toothpick now, so my goal by December is to look look a fat toothpick!

Lose some pounds, quit smoking, play more DDR (exercise). But it is all coaster related to an extent. I want to be healthy enough to continue to ride roller coasters when I retire and have the time to travel to more parks.

Why develope a six pack when you have a keg?

Ok, my New Years Resolution is to set up my train layout, restore my granpa's 1978 Green Chevy Impala, and lose about 50 pounds.

My mind works in strange ways. Yeah with a chain driven lift hill and gravity.

I need to lose weight, drop some nasty habits, be nicer to people, get a job.

It sounds like coaster enthusiasts in general are overweight people :) My goal is the same as many, lose weight. I did not fit the Wicked Twister test chair this year and the B&M restraints are starting to get real tight so it is time to shed some pounds. I have already started with the official coaster enthusiast excersise program, DDR, which I am playing once or twice a day for a half hour at a crack and I have started Weight Watchers so that I eat better too.

Another goal for next year is to hit 100 coasters riden. I figure between Disney World and the three park trifecta I will be pulling at SRM next year that I will get a great jump to hitting that goal.

Mine is to spend less time on the computer. I have seen these places where there are tons of books and you can actually borrow them, read them, and then return them.

Acutally, I read quite a lot but I hope to read even more next year. I am looking forward to reading to my son now too. I actually just read a book about Air Force One that was very interesting and I have another one coming from Amazon about the White House.

I am reading a lot of books now, too. they are about 20 pages each with lots of pictures...right up my alley. (I am reading bedtime stories to my baby girl -- eight weeks old tomorrow -- to get her to sleep).

BTW - She already has a membership card to ACE.

EDIT: To get back on topic, I need to shed 40 or so pounds and will be starting back on WeightWatchers (I lost 60 pounds on it two years ago. Unfortunately, I stopped counting points last year and put 40 of it back on...)

Here is a question for you. Why is there always an ice cream shop right next to a Weight Watchers-type office? We have a Jenny Craig and an ice cream store right next door. Go figure!

Hmm - if anything I should gain weight. I just ate a plate full of pizza and a 3 Musketeers. That's pretty much how I eat every meal. Yet I'm 5'10" and I've weighed about 130 since I was in high school 8 years ago. :)

Of course if I wasn't so freaking lazy I would start lifting weights and gain it in muscle...
