That's what's really going to make or break this for me in the end. As long as it holds relatively true to the current UI and approach, then all should be fine.
I just don't want a pretty game that's dull or annoying to play. The beauty of the game now is the simplicity vs depth ratio. You can do a hell of a lot with the game, but it's easy as pie to use.
That's why I never got into No Limits. I didn't have to desire to tweak and retweak and retweak those damn curves for days. Then spend an equal amount of time on supports. In RCT you can easily 'one-off' a top notch ride in well under an hour. I'm hoping that still holds true.
To me, it looks nice. I'm happy, as long as it's easy.
Basically someone took the time to run the original through an editor and slow it down so they could check out the details. Unfortunately they also added some REALLY lame music.
Slo-mo and super slo-mo versions of the newest video
Now who's going to sit in front of their PC on a Friday night and analyze this and come back with a blow by blow of what they found?
The pics show the coaster editor and the video clip demonstrates how you can "move" inside the game.
If you click around a bit on the photo page, you can find some sketches which alledgedly are "case studies" of the peeps and personnel of RCT3.
Quite bizarre! It seems there will be line jumpers and people who will never ever get a chance to fit on an Intamin coaster!
It looks like the editor will be better, but it will have that isometric POV like they've had all the time before which should make it somewhat easy. I just wonder what they had at the E3, and if they actually showed gameplay, and not just teaser videos with a lot of quick-cuts.
The video doesn´t exactly show gameplay, but it gives an impression how you navigate in the game. Its no edited promo.
The video shows that the game will work pretty much as we all anticipated. No surprises there.
The screenshot DawgByte pointed to is of more interest to me. Looks like we get the 'classic' coaster building of the first RCT games. That makes me very happy.

Anywho... the game itself really looks great. Much better than I expected. If they keep the interface as user-friendly (read: easy) as the originals, this should rocket off the shelves.
(Will the puke be in 3-D?)
Hi
I'm so excited and I just can't hide it.
Look closer following the track from flat (entering the turn) to flat (exiting the turn) looks like the ame generic bank we've always had.
To my eyes at least...

Perhaps a 'standard' and 'steep' bank choices (two little leaning car buttons on each side of the building tool)?
