new vekoma trains on arrows suspended - picture!

Therefore heavier trains, more centripetal force, more swinging :)

Dope! They should do that to the Ninja at Magic Mountain, even though it's just fine the way it is.

I wonder if it's possible to put on and use both types of trains on the coaster and let the riders choose which one they wanted to ride.

it might be possible, but could cause some problems with the station floor.

Just a correction, only 2 of those Vekoma suspendeds are the same one. although all 3 have the same layout Air Race has custom Cars. The Cetrufuge was moved to thailand as the hanging coaster at dream world, the other 2 are independant rides

Grampus Jet was actually the Meisho prototype and is the original of the three.

That would be one amazing ride!

I'm sitting here thinking of those trains on Top Gun, and it would really turn it into a stellar ride. It's like a Zephyr attached to coaster track.

Grampus jet was mitsuis 1994 coaster. Cetrfuge appeared at The world expo 6 years prior and now rests in malaysia. And air race was built even earlier in 1987. Grampus Jet is one of the many many rides distributed by Meisho for Vekoma in Asia. For some reason Japan is the only place Vekoma Asia dosent cover so they use Meisho. Go figure lol

Well, whatever, when I rode it, it was listed as the Meisho prototype. Don't look at me, they got that screwed up.

just to update you, this ride was supposed to open today, but never did!! they blamed it on the usual 'technical difficulties'. strange seeing as the parks staff were riding it!!

can;t say it enough myabe the currently frugal busch parks woudl spring for this on BBW!
