Those trains are remarkably similar to the ones used on Vekoma's Junior Inverts ala Rugrats at PKI. Cool to see Vekomas "Adult" version.

ok, sorry, didnt know that!
Mmmmm. Let's get some of those on the American versions. Having your legs swinging over the lagoon on Iron Dragon would be nice!

Shaggy, you're right. That's exactly what I was hoping they'd be, too. I can't wait to try them out. Hopefully they still have some free swinging in them like the original Arrow cars, though. It's difficult to tell from the picture, but I THINK I can make out dampers, and the lead car doesn't look perpendicular to the track...

Imagine that on the last drop of BBW! That would be true insanity!

How much more floorless can they get?

the trains swing as much as the arrow originals, if not more!
That's what I wanted to hear :)

i think vekoma might have actually done something well for once, barring mine trains and woodies!!
(sorry to any vekoma fans, i cant stand them personally!)

Well, it's not what I would have hoped for, but you could have predicted that... :)

stupid question...why are they retrofitting the trains on this ARROW suspended with new VEKOMA trains? werent the ARROW ones fine? and if they wanted an ARROW coaster changed, why ddint they contact ARROW? im sure they could have made a floorless design.

Dragon82487, did you consider that perhaps they did contact Arrow? Who said they didn't? Vekoma probablY offered a better proposal (which was most likely cheaper). This is not unheard of.....Intamin changed an Arrow coaster in Vegas. Morgan changed Arrow's Steel phantom.

Vekoma did more than provide new trains for this ride, they did a complete overhaul which it supposedly really needed. I can think of several American Arrow suspendeds that could use some serious work.

I like what I see, particularly if they swing as seriously as the Arrow trains do. It would make for a pretty serious change to any existing suspended Arrow ride.

Love 'em...and yep, just think what the other Arrows would be like with no floors. Top Gun at KI comes to mind! Peabody, which ones are not performing well? I have only ridden TG, BBW, Draggin' Iron and Canada's Vortex. All seem to be "hanging" in there.
