New thrust air in japan is only 170 feet tall!

"Interesting, I wonder where the 350 ft tall one that S&S has indicated they have designed and sold is going to then?? Everyone assumed that this coaster was it. Very interesting."

Blackpool in England is rumoured to be getting one of these in the attempt to make Blackpool the Las Vegas of England! I can dream!
It's called World Bucchigiri Coaster. That might mean something in Japaneese to do with the weired faces on the trains.

I also looked at a table below and found some other stats. So it's safe to say that these are official:

Name: World Bucchigiri Coaster
Type: Thrust Air 2000
Height: 60m
Speed: 172kph
G-Force: 4.25g
Launch Time: 1.8s
Length: 1,189m
Manufacturer: S&S Power

One thing is for sure. THIS COASTERS IS NOT THAT HIGH! But the rumoured speed appears to be accurate.

I translated the previously all-japaneese page into English by using playing around with the encoding provided with microsoft's japaneese display adapter for Internet Explorer.
CPtwister,

Cedar Point is rumored to get a Thrust Air next year. One can only hope. I mean just think of the speed it would have to lauch you to get up a hill like that.

"Ok, what is up with Japan? How retarded can they make their trains!!"

Sorry to tell you, that is an American train on it... The whole ride is American made.

Everybodys got something to hide except for me and my monkey!
Yes TrBiggar, but the Japanese request what they want on the trains. And just let me say, I DIED laughing when I saw the trains, they are the weirdest things I've ever seen in my life!

This coaster would produce some serious airtime if those runs include bunny hops. We can only hope.

Another reason to travel to the far east.

I think those trains are awesome! They completely add to the extreme, almost cartoonish nature of this ride. If only Americans could relax and have that much fun with design. *** This post was edited by DWeaver on 6/14/2001. ***
BTW, it is a cultural thing, ever take a look at their animation? It completely blows away most of the stuff done here in the states.
All TA2K's have awsome trains! I love those more than Hypersonic!

Amen DWeaver!:) Anyways, at least in the second year of production the Thrust Air's are going to be getting a bit longer. Definitely a step in the right direction!

i hope the 3rd thrust air will be at PGA and not CP or others because its suppose to be dubbed "Insanity"
Blackpool gets my bet, but it won't be for a year or 2.......
I'd love to see Blackpool fit anything else in, they had enough headaches fitting The Big One in. In the park perimeters as they are now - they have a serious space problem and they admit that. But they have car parks all around the park and the road through the middle. It will be interesting to see what the Thompson Family does with their next coaster. The space problem is the reason they have not been able to get a serious looping coaster, which have large footprints. There just isnt the room.
S$S said they would build one much higher than their prototype.
They also said they would build three.
So maybe the next one is the big one.
Wasn't XLC bigger than their prototype? The one in Japan is HUGE, it has an amazingly long and tall banked turn leading into the small vertical tower. When S&S say the next ride is gonna be huge, they don't necessarilly mean the tower section, logically they mean the whole ride, and the one in Japan fits that description. *** This post was edited by Iron Wolf on 6/18/2001. ***
no i dont think so. but the prototype was better than xlc. XLC only stays vertical going downward for a very short length. TA2K went vertical on both sides for the same amout of time.

Sit up right, hold on tight!
That 350ft. thrust air might be going to pki. After all When I was talking to one of them they said it would be the tallest in th world but they wouldn't tell me anything else

SOB: Better check your facts. The up and down sides of the tower on the prototype did not stay vertical for the same amount of time:
