It looks to me like they used FLash to make the graphics/animations, yet exported in .gif format.... ugh...

You can open an .swf file with Flash.
Yes thats right, but whats the point? you can't edit it unless it's a .fla, you my as well open it in an ordinary flash player.

What I meant was that you can open it with software (NOT Flash) which will uncompile it so you CAN edit it. I didn't meant you can just play it with Flash Player.
Sure, the little intro thing takes a long time to load, but just click on the enter button and the rest of the website runs great. Not a big deal by any means. I'm sure that there are lots of other things to complain about. Tell me where I'm wrong.

What about the 500 some kilobyte graphic on the "Ride Locations" page? That does not run great. And load times are not the only problem, the website in general looks pretty bad. Many pages on the site approach 100 kilobytes. It might not sound bad to you, but it can take quite a while for someone on a slow connection.
About the site-
Loaded pretty fast on my cable modem, but i can see where slower users would have problems.
The SS ride Snow Shot doesn't look like a winner to me.I was just never into those Grand Prix type rides that contain nothing but speed.
Some internet mumbo jumbo......How great is the performance difference between Dsl's, cable modem, and T-1?.....Thanks
