New SFGAm Map

The official map that shows V2 almost looks identical to the one I made in my map. The one on their map looks a little bigger and longer, but mine is in the exact position.

"I'd love to be in Legendary's position. I wouldn't care if I was just a ride operator. Any ways Legendary, I was just have a few questions? How old do you have to be for a ride operator, and do you get free rides in the morning or after closing hours?"

A few answers:

You must be 16 years old to work in the rides (operations) department. If you're that old, I'd encourage you to come out to the park to see about a job, sounds like you'd make a good addition to the park!

About riding -- If you're a Rides Lead (in charge of a particular ride) you test ride in the morning and once during the day. If you're just a Rides Host or Hostess, you cannot ride unless you get permission from a supervisor. There are many employee days throughout the year where park staff gets to ride the rides until 1am. Those are great fun.

So that's about it, if you're old enough, call the park to see about getting a job there!

Legendary -- any truth to the rumor that Deja Vu is having problems with the lift and may not open til July?
Legendary, since you work at Great America, I thought you might know this: Could I use my regular season pass to get in a buyout day? I know it is only for people with tickets for that day, but do you think the people at the gates would make a mistake? Thanks.

May 5th, Gurnee, Illinois...Oh wait! I'll be in Florida. In that case, May 5th, Tampa Bay Florida, "I'm sprinting for Gwazi!"
As a former employee I can answer that question about the buyout/season pass thing. The answer is no, you cannot use your season pass for a buyout event. You have to purchase tickets in order to gain access to the park. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure, check back later.

As for the question about the season passes, BMCOASTER is correct. No ticket, no access.

Okay, I'm really confused. Yesterday no one had a 2001 map. Now Legendary got one and everyone has seen it. How is this possible. There's no way all of you could've went to the buy out and they weren't there when I got my season pass. Did he post it some where? If so, where can I find it? *** This post was edited by 1nomed on 4/15/2001. ***

COME ON!! I want to see the new map
Answer the question!!!!

Did Legendary post the Map some where? If so, where can I find it?
NO - Legendary didn't post the map to my knowledge. I think individuals just have them and they have seen the map. I don't believe that a map of the new layout is circulating. Now if I am wrong - please correct me.

I hope this helps.

Why does everybody think Legendary posted a new map? At this moment, I don't think he has. He may have better things to do in his spare time. We'll just have to wait, and see when someone does post a new 2001 map.

Then HOW IS EVERYONE GETTING ALL THESE MAPS?
That is easy to answer. From the park! These people probably went to get season passes, and picked up a new map while they were there. If your lucky, the park & rec department where you live might have some, depending how close you live to SFGAm. I know way up here near Green Bay, you can buy tickets at a discount price, but I don't know about maps. They might have them, but I never asked.

V2, Deja Vu... how can it be better? Add Viper! Oh, wait. It's already there!
IF YOU ACTUALLY READ THE POST, YOU WOULD SEE THAT I SAID THEY WEREN'T THERE WHEN I GOT MY PASS.
1nomed, well, don't get all mad about it. I read all of them, just not in the last hour. I responded just now, and I, like most people, don't have perfect memory. I didn't want to take the time to reread, so I put that little word in there: probably. This means "not 100% sure." Now, lets stop this little thing right here before it blows out of proportion.
