New rocket. The best one perhaps??

^^^LOL to "world beater." You get one great lookin' ride and your heads explode down there! ;)

OMG I have a new sig!!!
Tekno - Galaxy Express isn't a rocket, it's tire propelled (kind of like Hulk I imagine).

RCDB:
The tires powering the train through the launch are driven by hydraulic motors. While hydraulics are involved, this system is very different from the hydraulic system used on Intamin's Accelerator Coasters (AKA Rocket Coasters).

As for Supe.. finally a reason to go to Australia. :)

Legendary- we have a total lack of good coasters here- an slc, an arrow looper, a vekoma junior invert and a vekoma junior sit down, an intamin reverse freefall (i think its a coaster) 4 mice of which one is the best coaster in the country (at the moment)!! So yes we are getting very excited.

And yes i do think with all supermans elements it will be a world beater.

Thanks scorpion for the info on the japanese coaster. It says top speed is only 39 mph? seems a bit slow. But i am all for only lap bars!! *** Edited 9/8/2005 3:48:35 AM UTC by gyjdnb***

This is the only Rocket coaster that has got me the least bit interested. I'd love to see the rest of the layout because what I have seen looks very good! Figures it would be built way down in Australia, but I suppose the enthusiasts down there deserve something good ;)

Hopefully it's Storm Runner-reliable, not Kingda Krap-reliable!

Yes hopefully this is a smaller rocket so that it is reliable. It is really starting to seem that unreliability is proportional to height. This being verified by Kingda Ka and Top Thrill Dragster both having downtime issues. While Storm Runner and Xcelerator seeming not to be down as often.

Watch the tram car please....
Makes me wonder what category Thorpe's new coaster is going to fall into.
Jammin, yeah, I didn't say it was a Rocket, but he was wondering if this would have OTSRs even without traditional 'inversions' (not counting overbanks). But GE999 is a new intamin, with an inversion, and a launch, and it has only the lap restraints :).
My favorite rocket is Xcelerator. I know TTD is all good but it doesnt pack a puch like Xcelerator.
