New ride(s) for michigans adventure?

I think cedar point did that years ago. Disneyland has the dinosour scenes you go thrue on the train.

The train ride at michigans adventure, looks like they just plopped it down in the middle of a field.

Yeah, something as small as Cedar Point's Boneville does the justice :)

I thought cedarpoint had some scenes on the train durring halloweekends a few years ago. For some reason I remember something next to thunder canyon.

Or maybe a kind of ghost town theme, complete with skeletons and a house that is on fire. OH OH, and their could be firemen skeletons putting out the fire! ...And dancing skeletons...

Yeah! Michigan's Adventure is getting Cedar Point's Free Fall ride.

Oh No! Pardon me, that would be Dorney Park, and it's "NEW FOR 2010" ride, that looks over 20 years old without even having to ask how old it is.

Now, now...They are putting a fresh coat of paint on demon drop.

What other reason would they have for not bringing demon drop to michigans adventure?

Does the park have bumper boats? If not, Screamscape reports Valleyfair's set is being removed and sent to another park. I suspect we may have the "new for 2010" attraction at MiA :)

I don't know if that's the case. Just hoping 1 + 1 = 2...or, rather (Valleyfair sending their bumperboats to another park) + (Michigan's Adventure) = MiA's new-for-2010 attraction.

Why can't MA get the new 500+ footer with 10 inversions????

Coaster wise, I think the park is good for the size.

What they really need is the path to connect the other end of the park, and maybe some new flats and more buildings like a red garter saloon, or even more gift shops to make it seem like less of a carnival.

Of course a drop tower ride would fit in great as well.

I did hear a rumor a year ago, that they were going to put in a camp snoopy as well.

The train gets robbed at Silver Dollar City. How 'bout that for a show?

I don't know what Valleyfair's boats are like, but I was truly saddened when Holiday World lost their boats. I had some rip roaring fun on those things...it's all about lining up at opposite ends and just ramming your friend head on while everyone else goes in circles. You can get pretty drenched if you can drive the things.

On that front as well, I am super bummed about the removal of Krazy Kars at Dorney. Oh, well...too expensive to maintain.

Screamscape is reporting that MiA is getting Valleyfair's bumper boats. Of course that rumor could have come from this very thread...or maybe I'm actually right? ;)
