New responses to News Items

I have a simple suggested improvement. I like how I can respond to news items and rumors, but there is no way to tell if there has been new posts since my last visit (like I can with the regular forums). If the ‘New’ indicator could be added along side the News items, I think it would be helpful.

Try clicking on the News button in the main menu bar at the top of the page. This link will take you to the main news page. There you will find a list of news items, number of responses to each item, and whether or not it's a "Hot" item. If it's hot, it's been replied to recently. Correct me if I'm wrong, Jeff.

I would have to agree, however. Something on the front end denoting a hot item would be nice, be it a color change or a little flame image next to the item.

Actually, the "hot" indicators show that there are ten or more responses. Still, the new post indicators are a good idea.
