New Private Message

I would really love to see a better notification of Private Messages. As it is now, with just the small text at the top of the screen, I have a tendency to miss the fact that I have a new message.

Something along the way of what Point Buzz has, that would fit under the Tools menu to the right, would be great.

And if not already available, I could not find anything, a way to set them up to send an e-mail when a new message is received.

A better indicator is certainly possible when I do the next set of overall tweaks (on the plan for the next month or so). The e-mail thing is a little trickier for certain reasons, but I'll definitely see what I can do.

Something similar to the way PointBuzz is set up would be wonderful.

I'll just echo this, if I may. I've only gotten two private messages ever, but both times I didn't read them until days later because I didn't notice the little "0" had changed to a "1" up in the corner. I just never think to look there. I guess from now on I will. :)

I once had a message sitting there for weeks that I didn't notice.
