New pictures of the 10-inversion Intamin looper show it doesn't matter if it has a name yet! The new ride at Thorpe Park will grab the record for the most inversions.
Here is what the trains will look like. This coaster was made by Intiman with the exact same layout in 1998 except without the last two barrel rolls.
It reminds me of Ultra Twister.
Formerly known as PCWHome
Also, as you may have seen from the pics, 9 of the 10 inversions are up, with the 10 and final one Not far off. I wouldnt be suprised if we see pictures of a full circuit between Saturday and Monday???? *** This post was edited by PaulD on 10/11/2001. ***
I sure do hope that this coaster is officially un-named, atleast after it's third name. The first one fit, sounded good, and was original.
Then came along Odyssey, and, worse yet, Colossus.
Now, I'm just patiently awiting Intamin's first above-track looping coaster here in the US.
-----------------
The renforced square track for the cobra roll vs. the flat for the barrel rolls.
That's one of the things I always liked about Millennium Force, the mixture of track types. Just looks cool.. different...

Before anyone gets a bit confused, Let me make it quite clear to people that Colossus or whatever the final name will be, will actually have 4 Inline Twists in a row, After the 4 Inline's there will be a Final Turn followed by 1 more inline Twist, and then there will be The Final Brake Run. I know pretty much everyone does know about this, but there does still seem to be a few people who think the ride wil actually have 5 inlines in a row when it actually wont.
Just wanted to make it Clear:)
