New pictures of the 10-inversion Intamin looper show it doesn't matter if it has a name yet! The new ride at Thorpe Park will grab the record for the most inversions.

Wow! That is looking really good :)

I think the photos prove that this ride just isn't out to "break the record", but will still prove to be an amazing ride!

What I find cool is that it's not even that tall of a ride.

Wow !! Those barrel Rolls are AWESOME !!!!
For some reason this coaster has an amazing look to it.  I sat here drooling over that first image for a while.  I sure hope they don't call it Colossus, seeing as there are already too many coasters by that name and Atlantis was a very fitting name.

I thought it was going to be named Atlantis?
They supposedly changed it to Colossus... Interesting name...
Wait...I think Colossus is just the name of the site that's dedicated to that particular coaster.
I don't usually say stuff like this but I think everyone is getting a little too excited over nothing. Based on the the hieght of the ride and what they are trying to do with it I just don't see this ride having a lot of intensity. It will probably scramble your brain but I think it's going to be a very slow ride at many points. Not very exciting if you ask me.
>hil, you don't have to ride it if it doesn't look exciting for you but let us other here in Europe enjoy a new coasters that looks exciting for me in my opinion. />

I don't understand where your coming from Phil. Because of it's size it can't be intense? Have you ever ridden Batman? Kumba? any CCI?  And people are excited because it is an Intamin *rollercoaster*. When's the last time you rode one of their modern creations that wasn't intense?
Yeah, what IS this things name? Project Odyssey for a coaster called Atlantis? Project Atlantis for a coaster named Collossus?? I'm dizzy already and we're nowhere near that stretch over the lake yet........think................I'm gonna..........huuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrgh
I remember seeing it as Project: Atlantis, but last weel on rcdb.com I saw it listed as Collossus. This is the kind of ride I like to see, is it going to have OTSR? I can't wait to see the first new ride that doesn't have them. 5 heartlines, wow! What does a heartline feel like on a sitdown?

I thought this thing would never get built. What a great looking ride! I'm tired of purple and green! Those barrel rolls look smart!
so when are we planning a trip?  it's compact!  multiple elements and it's an Intamin!  time to apply for a passport!

Size has nothing to do with intensity. One word for you: Alpengeist. Any B&M inverter can take the intensity challenge against that ride and win.

Another great looking ride from Intamin.

The ride is most definitely called Colossus - it's already been announced.

Yes, Atlantis was only the project name, it was never the official name for the coaster.
