Did everyone notice that the Entrance Walkway/Ramp/Queue has been removed? Maybe this is a good sign for next year.

i have some pictures of shockwave deconstruction and some new pics of the new roller coaster from this past Sat when i was thier from fright fest. I dont have a web page but i can email them to someone who does, so they can post them. Let me know if anyone is intrested.

'Gator - none of Shockwave is headed to SFKK. Anyone who wants to ride this Arrow coaster will have to make trips to the Houston and Baltimore/Washington areas next year.

Yes they will be cutting the ride in half, one part will go to Houston, the other to DC/B. :) So in order to get the track credit you will have to ride both halfs.

Sounds like SFA will make a great CoasterCon sidetrip this summer. I'd be 'Shocked' if the majority of attendees don't make it!

Bassistist and I are already planning a side trip there next year. I just think its so cool that one coaster will eventually generate three credits to a person's track record.

actually i heard that everything upto the MCBR is going to Houston the MCBR and after is going to washington. THe difficult part is lining up the the launching rise to he brake run in houston exactly to land you in washington on the brake run ;)

LOL Calvin. I know its hard to believe that SF would actually split Shockwave into two coasters...I had a hard time believing it, too, when I first heard it.

So, assuming calvin12 is correct, the Houston ride is actually going to END with a nice headbanging....the MCBR finale....

Yes, gator. A 'Wave of Mutilation,' so to speak.

But I think SF will invest some of the cash they're ultimately going to save into some ride modifications to make the experience more enjoyable.

'Gator - Shockwave is not being split exactly in half. As I said before, one coaster will be the second two loops and the corks, the other will be the first loop and the boomerang. What I wasn't able to say until now is that Arrow, due to the whole X debacle, is actually helping with this project and manufactuing a few new pieces of track so it all fits together. The MCBR will probably be used as a final brake run on one of the coasters, but I'm not sure which one.
