New Mummy coaster to replace Kongfrontation at Universal Florida

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Sources tell The Orlando Sentinel that Universal Studios is planning an indoor roller coaster to replace Kongfrontation, one of the parks original rides, which was closed in September. The new ride will apparently be themed to "The Mummy" movie.

Read more from The Orlando Sentinel.

Here is a website MFRULES about the ride has a few pics also, and the pic your talking about comes after the ride is done its not an on ride pic. Hope that helps a little.

Nitro - while I'll be the first person to admit that Hulk is the greatest coaster in Florida (no, I'm not insane), I think it'd be better for USF to go in a different direction than IOA.

The Studios have always been about elaborately themed indoor attractions, and IOA's more of the outdoor thing (w/ a little Spidey & CitH thrown in).

Though I'd love to see a B&M flyer in Orlando, I think IOA would/should be the one to see it.

Dont forget ET is an inverted Coaster of sorts. So that makes two!

What? I think not. If that were so, Peter Pan's Flight at WDW would also be an "inverted coaster of sorts."

I see how you're thinking, but I can't quite agree.
