New Mod(s) needed?

Ok, with all the complaining going on about the AOLer talk on this site, I figure I'd add in my opinion on a possible sugestion.

Maybe one or two new mods are in need? We have a lot of perfectly respectable members who could fit in the mod shoes perfect, namely KTS, Andy (RCTandy), KpJb, and Scott Vickers. Those are just a few of many members fit to mod.

Honestly, Gonch does a good job, but the site's rapidly growing, and there just isn't enough 'Gonch' to go around. We need to get one or maybe two more mods in there to help him, before the AOL vs Know how to type war is over. ;)

And in regards to the last idea, about restriciting it to club members: I think it would help a lot, but not completely. Some people downright love the site, and still type like crap. Honestly, I have no doubt that Skittlz and others would pay 20 a year for this site. I think this idea will help big time, cause even morons can become club member.

No one is complaining about it on this site, it's the games site that has the problems.

Yeah, but before $kittlz drops the $20, I'd suggest he learn to type actual words or he's going to be paying $20 for me to delete his posts...

I think the $20 membership will be far more effective than you think, Omar. Most people on this site wouldn't even shell out the $10 needed for rollercoasterrider, even though they were addicted to the demo.

And with plenty of other sites to post on for free, I think they'd rather go somewhere else than have to explain to mommy that they need $20 to post their video game roller coasters ;).

Which is probably part of the reason for the change, right?

Exactly. Sure, it creates kind of a class system with regards to the game site, but it's a small price to pay for those who really dig it and don't care for the crap.

The games site is what I'm talking about. I think at least 1 other mod is needed.

But hey, the 20$ idea might take out enough of the idiots so that Gonch can handle what's left.

Or at least infludence them to so elsewhere...
