I think that IOA needs another rollercoaster since I have been on The Hulk and DD many times.
Wait a minute. You mean to tell me an amusement park needs to add another ride because you've been on a few of their coasters many times? HA! Why don't you call up the PR and tell them that, maybe they'll relay it on to the park owners... ;)

If at first don't succeed, find out if the loser gets anything.
The only other way would be getting rid of some of the current islands to make way for the new one, but then again that's wasted money. I really don't know though.

During Halloween Horror Nights they were selling "Embalming Fluid" - these booths had longer waits than some of the rides and haunted houses. Not sure what was in them other than Bacardi Limon.

Point is, for some of the people who posted above, the quality of experience at both parks are comparable. For some people, there is more to a day at a park than coaster count.
As for IOA, everthing that is there is top notch but I do think it is a half day park still. That said, if you compare Disney's California Adventure to IOA, the Universal people stomped the Disney people to a pulp. That isn't easy for me to say but it is true.
IOA needs to expand and it will in time.

Of course, this ignores the notion that Islands of Adventure had a *budget* while California Adventure was built from the spare change and lint Michael Eisner found under his couch ;)

I still think they should add a B+M flyer to Jurassic Park if you look on mapquest they seem to have enough room behind the discovery center in that area of land that is open.Actually, behind JP there really isn't that much room. There is a service road that runs back there, and then there's the sound barrier wall. Still possible, I guess, but not for a really tall coaster of any type. Anything that would go there would still have to be lower than 150 feet I'd say. You see, there is a high school (my old one) and several housing devepments on the other side of the road from the back of the park.
They constructed the barrier partially to cover the back of the park, but also to absorb some of the ride's noise despite the filled B&M track.
Again, there's a small amount of room back there, but not as much as you'd think.

How long is the wait time from this point?
Four destinations that have created a collection of coasters, rides and experiences in one place that people pay to enter and enjoy a day of fun.
In that sense it's apples and apples...and apples...and apples :)
If you're talking about who they're trying to bring in, what guests expect, etc then it may be apples and oranges.
