new idea for next intamin impulses

Jeff, Thats Pretty Harsh On My End, I'm Sorry I Capitalize Every word, Its Just A Habit, My Pinky dont Get off that Shift Key Ever. So Sorry about That, And the Thing about the MF Brakes, I Misunderstood, I was describing the Brakes On SUE and How they do not Use Alot of Juice, And How Millennium Force, uses alot OF Energy, but Cedar Point would not not get a ride because of the amount of energy it uses, First Energy can provide them with as much Electricity as they need. All I was Explaining about The Brakes is that the LIM's on SUE, Arent Really Brakes, They Are Tension LIMS, they Are Sort Of in reverse, so they slow you down. Don't Be so Mean About it. Gosh.

Oh, with The operating systems And counterweights I was talking About How The Lift Uses Energy, It Takes Alot to Counterbalance the Train, at a resonable Speed (13mph) if the Train is Heavy, then the counterweights need to be controlled more so that it Can Efficiently do its Job. Operating Systems... The Computers Below the Force... that hence the word "Operate" The Coaster, all the Ride "Op" has to do is hit the button and the computer Takes it away. along with the Censoring DEvices, Its just too bad That I use my school time to come to your site, huh Jeff? I think that you should be happy that people are participating in this... I love this Site, And It's Okay to Post What you Are thinking, and Discuss, hence "forum". I'm a happy camper =o)

I  thought of a pretty cool Idea for a Impulse, or so I think it is. A dueling Impulse, have one train face forward and the other backwards. On the first tower, instead of a twisted spike. Let the rails twist around one another.
That would be extremely hard to accomplish factoring in the winds and other stuff that makes the steel shake.  I could see the dueling side be the flat-side.................

XFlighter... you must have the most endurance in a pinky finger known to man..  It's almost impossible to follow your posts because the capitalization is so fatiguing to the eyes, man.

I rode "X" and never went upside down.

Just being technical, and after watching Extreme Rides 2001, they said that the holding LIM takes an additional 5200 amps to hold the train for 1/10 of a second...you can't tell me that's not a lot of juice!

Mayday - Memorial Day Weekend - Nonpoint, Nickelback, Oleander, Staind
Ozzfest - June 8 - Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Black Sabbath
Awake Tour- June 15 - Darwin's Waiting Room, Puddle of Mudd, Deftones, Godsmack

That's a good idea because now both ends of the train can get the twisting.

And, since you haen't experienced the back spike LIMs hold you, I wouldn't be so quick to have them removed.  That is one of the coolest feelings, being held there, face down at 90 degrees, falling into your harness.  I think a dual twisted spike track would get really boring.

what? I never said I haven't rode it with the brake working... I have been on it about 20 times with the brake and about 5 times without... I like the back brake a bunch, but I think the spiral would make the ride better for the back of the train... It would make the back seat about as cool as the front... With the brake, the cool part about the back seat is when you slope up to the back spike (some nice gs), not to mention being held so high up (even if the other seats are in your way)...

I always wondered why V2/S:UE didn't just have two spikes, but the more I think about it, the more I like the way they are configured.
