New expansion pack confirmed

i hopr they add more flat rides and food stands..possably an arcade and games..
they need to fix the physics ofthe game. a 60 degree drop that is 80 feet high doesnt give a 60 mph speed. and the G's need to be tolerated by guests more. Also they need to revamp the rc engine so you can build at more angle and different banks and turns
also different size loops and inversion. different size dive loops and flat spins and such!
thanks ron g, that is what i have been screaming for a very long long time. you have to be going THIRTY-SIX mph to go through a corkscrew without pulling 5 g's!!!! wtf is that all about? i finally built a steel twister safely w/ 7 inversions. the highest drop height is 48!!! oh well, those little ant oompa loompa things are a bunch of wussies.

THANK YOU Ron G. and punk. I have always said that and people shrug me off. I got a 230 ft. coaster to go 95 mph, no lie.
i believe you craig im in the same boat. the physics of the game are messed up. they also need realism in turns and slopes with more flexibility in angles. perhaps inroduce something like in sim theme park where any angle goes!!! does anyone remember "disney's Coaster" game. that had a good build engine in it!!!
I have Coaster. The problem with that game is that it takes a long time to build a coaster.
but my point is its agood engine becasue of the flexibility in normal track(non special element stuff)!
I do remember the Disney Coaster. But it took forever to build something. I would still pick the roller coaster tycoon over that. But it did have some nice aspects.
I would HATE to see complete flexability in track. One of the things that I like about RCT is that a coaster can be quickly build without worrying about lining things up -- everything is constrained to the grid. If freedom in angles and lengths was given, the engine would no longer be requiring grid constraints, and I don't like lining things up to the nearest pixel! Besides, I don't think the current graphics engine could handle freedom of angles. The engine would have to move to 3D, and if the very detailed graphics would stay detailed, you would need a massive system to play the game. I would like to see a "gradual pullout" or "gradual hilltop" style of track, where it goes from to steep to 0 degrees of dive or climb in, say, four squares instead of two. This would allow much higher drops while keeping G force down. If "gradual pullout" was in the "Special..." menu it could be added to the current graphics engine.

A bad day at Cedar Point is better than a good day at work.
I hope the new version has more thrill rides, well not thrill, but spin and spew, like the musik express, tilt a whirl, swings, octopus, joker, etc etc.
I really don't care about theming that much, this is for an amusement park, not a theme park.

More rides, more stands, more everthing!

Parks hit for 2000!
PKD,BGW,Knoebels,Dorney,Hershey,PKI,HW,SFKK,SFA, Camden
Games! Arcades! Tilt-A-Whirls! Trabants! Swing Arounds! Give us something worthwhile, Sawyer! This will probably be another expansion pack full of obscure coaster types (Has anyone ever seen a reverser coaster in a modern park?). Give us a Whip!
I've been saying the same about the loops and hills.. they need to be SMOOTHER! I would also like it if they had gradual loops.. instead of one size... well, 2 for the twisted coaster... a huge one and a small one.. there needs to be more!.. *sigh* oh well :)

Frisbee's, Airjumpers, Inverters, Jumps, give us spin and spew rides like those...and I agree with Kennywood fan...where the hell are u gonna find a reverser cosaster or virginia reel in a modern park???

The Adventure Lives On...

I agree with punk on the speed dynamics.. The corkscrew at CP goes like 40-50 through the corkscrews as far as I know.. it also depends on the size of them too..... The physics of a loop and speed are kinda weird.. the square root of the area of the loops equals the coasters needed speed to go through.. thats why they are oval shaped... less area, less speed to go through it...

I hope it has built in codes and create your own scenario like other sim games (even though its not made buy the same people as simcity the sims etc....)
I hope the game as more variations in loop sizes and angle of drops and turns and have braver guests willing to go on and enjoy intensity levels of 14.27.
I dont think anyone said this but how about incline loops and the new corkscrews like on BatMan Night Flight at SFO.
I hope that they add hyper-coasters that the guests can ride. I tried building one using the corkscrew coaster since you can go over 200 feet and the guests go up to it and turn around and walk away. They say it looks too intense.

Can you take me higher? (CREED)
You have to design it just right.
Like Very High excitement, high intensity, and medium nausea. That is a good coaster.
