New Entries in the CoasterBuzz Top 100

Why is it difficult to imagine it could be better than Nitro?

really, they're all kind of similar. More similarities than differences, really.

Honestly, I couldn't even tell you which one I prefer.

Exactly. I'm not saying Candymonium is significantly worse, just higher in the list than I expected due to how similar they are. Maybe I'll give it that fifth star if I ride it with your family someday. :-)

I hope folks generally think they're similarly fun. Back in the day, at the turn on the century, it seemed divisive, but I loved Apollo instantly.

Shoot, I'm just happy my five-star rating bumped Copperhead Strike up a spot while so much else dropped down.

My love for Apollo is deep. I've ridden most but of the American B&M hypers, and the third drop on Apollo for my money is still my favorite single moment on any of them. Especially in the back right seat.

B&M hyper preferences are always funny to me. I love Nitro and Mako. Diamondback and Behemoth (Canada's Wonderland) are probably my least favorite. I guess I prefer the short trains.

I couldn't help but notice that there was a lot of movement on the top 100 this week. I don't recall spotting anything particularly striking (maybe Nemesis taking a somewhat hefty drop), but there were a lot of position changes.

I'm really interested to see where Velocicoaster lands. I've not yet ridden it myself, but it seems to be getting almost universal (no pun intended) acclaim.

Hagrid's made the list this week, finally. Surprised that it took so long. I imagine Velocicoaster will rank highly once more people rate it.

I would guess the downtime and COVID slowed it down a bit.

Hagrids has been open for 28 months but probably only has about 20 months worth of operation under its belt between the COVID closure and downtimes.

Wow. I've not ridden it or watched much material on it, but debuting at 11th is pretty strong. I didn't realize it was that popular of a coaster.

I really do love it. Hate the queue. Not autism friendly at all, and obnoxiously loud.

Any speculation on the sudden influx of coasters that got bumped from +100 into the 90s? Interesting.

We got spammed, hard. I'm working on cleaning up the data.

OK... removed the spam. There was a way to get around one of the spam safeguards that someone figured out, and created a bunch of accounts.

I wish I had nothing better to do than hack a top 100 rollercoaster database…

But then again, what do I know?

Velocicoaster has entered the chat.

That’s my fault. I rode it a week ago today.

If this were a lesser site, we'd have fanboy types screaming about the lack of a perfect rating and head hunting the one person that gave it a 4/5. But we are above all that, of course.

So anyway, who was it?
