This is more in game footage and demonstrates a lot of close-up action going on. Examples include a close up of the Wild West show, with spectators and lots of great animation. Mechanical bulls (sick idea for a flat ride), haunted theme closes ups, a boomerang coaster in action (rotating FP views), the Top Spin being built, colorized..with fountain adjustments along with path-making and entrance/exits being plopped down. Instant day to night and back switching, time speed up, trees spinning as coasters whizz by (I think that's what it is - but it sure looks crazy). There's a haunted swings ride (distant shot you'll need to pause to see it), and much more.
It's amazing!
Here's the link to the page. At the very top choice, you'll see Japanese text with a tiny link, and the wording 103mb, just click to download. When you unzip it, it should be 2 parts (mpg)

HUGE props to Frontier!
Certain victory.
I kind of don't like the light-blue icons for selecting everything. It just sticks out too much, and doesn't look right.
However, the rest of the game definately is taking shape. It's too bad that the video came without sound, because I'd like to know what the western show sounds like, as well as the Top Spin...
Speaking of which... that Top Spin definately looks like it has some nice physics like its real world counterpart!
I'm still trying to pull my jaw off of the floor after seeing not just the Top Spin, but the Top Spin at night. Gasp!

The icons aren't on-screen until you need them, or so it would appear. I wouldn't sweat it.
Exactly what I was thinking, Jeff. Plus, this is video tape, so the colors are a bit washed out - for all we know, those icons may be more of a metalic blue or whatever. In any case, I am so damn dying for this game, it's an illness. :)
I'm only getting 44K download...
I'll edit this in a half hour or so when it finally finishes and I can watch it.

used to DL speeds around 300K or so
EDIT - Oh man. I'm cursed or something. It's slowly dropped. I'm down to 23K...
Other sites/downloads are still fine. I downloaded about 20 "other" video clips while waiting for this one and those all came across in the standard 300K range.

I looked at the very top, but never saw anything. lol. Once again, thanks for the "RCT for Dummies" method of finding it. Looks to still be holding true to the first one as far as game play. If only Christmas would hurry up!
On a side note: I can ride every coaster and faltride in real life without getting sick, but looking at that movie made me feel queesy. The fast "camera" movements can be very disturbing. This is in no way a critique! Maybe its just me being too old and not accustomed to new video games?!
Now... what other rides rely on gravity that would be nice to see?
I hope they have Yo-Yo swings. That was surprisingly absent from RCT1 & RCT2. It'd be sweet to see the little peeps on the swings moving around independantly, with some of the peeps kicking the back seat of another peep, while another peep "loses" his shoes in the middle of the ride. ;)
The S&S drop towers would be interesting to see in this game as well. They were pretty standard in the RCT1 & 2 games, but should have really advanced in this version. I'd like to see how a Huss Ranger & Ranbow in action works out.
Now the big question remains: Will there be individual sounds for at least some of the flat rides, or will it be a quiet temple like the first?
**still wiping off the drool**
Scroll down until you see the first pic of RCT3 along the right. You'll see the beginning of the text line starts with E3 2004 #141, in that paragraph of Japanese, you'll see it says 103mb. Just move the mouse to the immediate left of 103mb, and you'll notice is it is tiny Japanese word that is the actual link to the zip file.
First paragraph, third line, a little past halfway, just before the '103MB'. Nice little bit of japanese text in a different color. Click it!
