New Dragster Cam

Cedar point has replaced the Wicked Twister Cam with a wiew of the other side of dragster. Could there be something on the other side of the tower going to happen? Perhaps.... a second coaster....

Or maybe they just want you to see the new ride from a new angle.....

Oh lord, not another new coaster rumor. We get to see the construction close up, like the station, etc.

What would "Patriot" have to do with anything? Dragster is a much more fitting name for a roller coaster...

Patriot could have something to do with rockets ie patriot missiles. So a rocket coaster might be fitting to that title.

Well looks like the Power Tower cam has been turned to view the construction too now.....

By this view if it is not PAINFULLY obvious what is happening by now .....you will never get it until you ride it.

quit complaining about stupid things like spelling and abreviations. It's not worth it.

So whats this coaster going to do that their other intamin's dont do already? launch, big drop, twist, overbank turn, vertical, Millenium Force and Wicked Twister do all of those things already. Hopefully there will be something original about this ride and not just hyped measurements like Millenium Force, which was just a bigger version of Magnum with overbanked turns.

Super7: Have you ever ridden Millenium Force? Duh it is not even close to magnum. This coaster is looking awesome so dont even try to pawn it off as something trivial. Your ignorance for even calling Millenium Force a bigger version of Magnum with overbanked turns shows me that you wont appreciate the magnitude of this awesome ride anyway so why dont you stop posting cause its not helping the thread in any way.

Secondly, I was wondering why Cedar Point keeps refering this as a thrill ride? It is certainly quite a bit more than a thrill ride.

Super7, I really hope you've never been on Millie. Magunm and Millie are very different rides. I'd venture to say that, after the first drop, they have nothing (concept-wise) in common. And the first hills are so different that they are almost different concepts, too. Magnum's very much a classic old out-and-back woodie, just made of steel and several times larger. Millie is... Millie is... Take the intensity and pacing (or lack there of) of B:tR, make it quiet, not as rough, longer, more spread out, and three times as tall, and you'll start to get an idea of what Millie is. That doesn't necessarily make it better, but it's very different.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the PT cam looks like the same view it's always had. I see MF and Mantis in the background.

CPLady, it has been turned to the right. Previously, MF's hill was centered in the cam, now it is closer to the left edge.
