New Coasters not yet on the Track Record list

When a smaller or more obscure park opens up a new roller coaster that doesn't make the mainstream news outlets outside of the local area, would this forum be an acceptable method for notifying the webmaster of the existence of this coaster, and what would be a reasonable amount of time to expect the database to include these newest rides?

From my home of Reno NV, the paragraphs below summarize the coaster count in my local area:

In late August, the Wild Island Family Adventure Park in Sparks NV (next to Reno) opened its new "Wildcat" roller coaster, which I had the pleasure of riding on Labor Day. It is a compact non-looping steel coaster manufactured by Miler, and stands 40 feet tall with a track length about 900 feet. This little coaster is a fun ride with good floating airtime in the front row over the crest of several hills and bunny hops, including both a double up and a double down. Its tight turns produce fine lateral g's as well. As expected, this ride doesn't last long, about 40-45 seconds from the top of the lift hill. The Wildcat runs up to two trains with three cars in each train, and two rows in each car. Regular price for an individual ride is $3.95, but at certain times of the early evening the ride is discounted to $3.25. There is a package deal that permits unlimited rides on the Wildcat plus mini golf and go-karts, which runs about $25.

Reno NV also has a kiddie coaster at the Playland at Idlewild park, which consists of a very small collection of about 10 amusement rides. I rode this in early July, and the operator gave me 10 laps around the brief circuit since there were very few people at the park. There is no official name for this coaster, so the generic name of "Coaster" (as indicated on the ticket price list) would likely apply here.

Anyhow, I just thought I would fill you in on the latest "CoasterBuzz" from Reno NV, far away from the central core of the CoasterBuzz club.

There's a "Contribute" link at the top for submitting coasters and parks. With the busy schedules of the staff, they may not appear right away, but submissions ARE examined.

On a tangent to this, note that for some reason people keep insisting on submitting rides that are already listed, with no new information (frequently LESS) than already listed. Please, don't submit a ride that's already in the database, unless you notice a significant problem.

Thanks,
