Wow Kara that is really something! Does it have any historic purpose?

I have a TNT2 graphics card, and my computer meets all the requirements. I have a Dell 8100 series computer. The problem is really getting to me.

I can get into the game just fine, then I pick to build a new coaster. I can view the pre-made coasters just fine. Anyways, I can build 30-40 pieces of track. Once I try to put any more(Track) on, the game just closes. Why does it do this? What are everyone's thoughts?

Yes Jephry, there is first-person view. It is very neat, and I enjoy it, except for the high requirements(SP?).

How do you get to first person view

F4 is for first person, and F6 starts the ride... but that's about it.

I wish the camera roamed a little more freely, because it is tough to control when you have to use the little window box the whole time instead of like the keyboard or something.

My processor is well below min. requirements (P2-350), but since my video card has T&L (GeForce2MX), I run at around 50-130 fps in first person view while at 1152x864 resolution. Not bad at all! Building with this is very confusing, but I'm getting the hang of it, and I can do smooth curving drops now...it's turns that are a pain in the butt!

Well . I can't download the demo because of the parental control settings on this darn computer. Man I hate using aol.

this game has a HUGE problem with voodoo cards. just thought every one should know, it also makes a huge difference if you downloaded the latest drivers from the cards site. you better hope your card has hardware or software T&L, or the fps drops tremendously. also, be sure to put an extending lift peice before the first drop, or it will roll back (i guess the ani-rollback aint workin :) ) but its a pretty cool game tho.

I've really become quite good at getting very smooth transitions. I built a PERFECT hammerhead turn this morning. Unfortunately, I had a bug where I can only turn left...banking the track right causes a 360 degree spiral in the track. I think it was just for that session, though, not constant through the game. This thing is COOL.

This game is great...I have a Voodoo5 and haven't experienced any problems at all. I get nice framerates, but then again I have 1ghz and 640mb of ram. I really need some keyboard shortcuts, it is a pain having to use the mouse just to look around. Also, being able to move the view while riding would be nice too.
