That's great news really. Centurion is a way better name. It's almost un-Cedar Fairish.

Knott's is the only "big" park left in the chain without a major coaster investment recently...but KBF has the bad neighbors, and would be in for a battle to build something that tall...

Of course, *if* Knott's got something like Big Fury...Dorney might end up with Xcelerator... ;~P

I'd be OK with that. That would put XCelerator much closer to home.

I don't think so. Even if it was, neither of those coasters is 325 feet tall, so it wouldn't make a lot of sense for a rename.

I am perfectly fine with recycling if it is Xcelerator. I'd love to have that in my backyard. It would probably fit real nice where Stinger sits. Heh..

Is Cedar Fair's license for the Intimidator name, or for the Earnhardt trademarks, trade dress, etc?

They have a licensing agreement with DEI (google it, Jason).

It sure looks like the license arrangement with Earnhardt doesn't include the Intimidator name; if so, the name stays even if the Earnhardt trademarks go away.

And Stinger would be a great fit at SFNE if they wanted to sell outside the chain.

The trick was to surrender to the flow.

If Knotts gets Fury325 and has to remove Xecelerator in the process.
Then send Xecelarator to KD
