How much money did Disney spend on that ride altogether? Does anyone know? I bet you it's about 30 million.
You add lights, sound, theming, and so on, and than you only have 2-3 roller coasters at the park.
How much attendance does that Warner Brothers park in Spain make? They only 5 roller coasters (Some are themed good.) I doubt it's a lot because they (SF) probably wouldn't have sold it.

Hollywood Dream is at Universal Japan
I think it could be more intense, but IMO the overall experience looks like alot of fun. I would like to see this on something like Nitro or MF.

Quality beats quantity every time.
I'd rather have 2 or 3 unique or exceptional experiences, than 5 or 6 average ones.
I agree with Gonch. See IoA, for instance.

I imagine those in-harness music selectors would last all of two weeks before getting destroyed if something like that were built here. Cripes, if B&M hard-foam restraints get destroyed by riders here, electronics and plastic don't stand a chance.
I thought that too. In Japan it's safe. I went to a museum there and the antiquities weren't even all behind glass nor velvet ropes. People just know not to touch them!

BINGO, Thats why I prefer parks with only a couple great coasters that I can get a ton of rides in over a park with 16 and only getting a handful of rides in.
Oh wait, I gotta pay extra to get my rides.

Yep. :)
I'll let you know what I think, as I'll be in Japan this mid-July. ;)

I hate those lights. They look girly. Maybe, it's just the video.
You can not be serious. It appears that you totally missed the concept behind the ride. I'll help you out. It's called Hollywood Dream the Ride. What is every waiter or waitresses dream in Hollywood? To become a movie star.
So there's a whole bunch of white-LEDs on each train that look like stars and then there's strobes too that could represent the press at a movie premiere.
And what's with the comment about the lights looking girly? Do you know how many female enthusiasts there are? Quite a bit judging by last year's BeastBuzz, and I'm sure many of them either post frequently or read this site.
