Need Help with Eastern Coaster Trip Part 2

Seems to me like you WANT to go to SFOG, Well SFOG has more coasters have to give it that SFNE 6 and SFOG 8 [not counting kiddy]...which doesnt seem like that much actually, just a few more coasters to a park will make you pass up SROS?......Try to think it over.
Yeah, well, I'd really like to know how S:UE compares to, say, X-flight.
Someone mentioned above that Canobie Lake is closer to SFNE than Lake Compounce.   I was looking at a map last night and saw that LC looks to be closer.  I just checked Lycos Maps and see that Bristol CT (LC) is 49 miles from Agawam MA (SFNE)... and Salem NH (Canobie) is 114 miles from Agawam.
So, 49 miles away, that would be about an hour's drive? How far is Bristol from Jackson, New Jersey?
6 hours about.
Is there anything else to do in the New Jersey and Connecticut/Massachusetts area?
Are there any historical attractions in Bristol or anything?
The South, man, visit the South! Especially if you've never been. Just don't totally limit yourself to the parks/coasters of the ordeal, consider all other things. Not much, like 10%, but you know what I'm saying:).......

Yeah, I get it, but what is their to do in the South?

Bristol hosted the X-Games at Lake Compounce...ESPN headquarters...NOT for everyone, but I'd love to drain a couple Js over Stu!  Rich couldn't even HOPE to contain me, I'd be droppin' dimes to The Jet like crazy...

Hey, during the summer their is a lot to do in Jersey.  Jackson isn't far from the Jersey Shore which has tons to do.  You can go to the beach/boardwalk.  Also at night there are clubs and lots of bars at the shore.  Also if your a music fan their are some great places for concerts like Convention Hall (Asbury Park), The Stone Pony (Asbury Park), Tradewinds (Sea Bright), PNC Bank Arts Center (Holmdel), just to name a few.  All of these places are about 45 max from SFGAdv.

Loud Music at the Electric Factory....
Thanks for the info. Very helpful.
In southern CT, there's a museum of an old park that was there.  I haven't checked it out, but it looks pretty interesting.  LC is definitely closer to SFNE than Canobie.  Also LC is the better bet because you've got Boulderdash, Wildcat (great small woodie), and Zoomerang.  Also, not coasters, but LC has a great Ghost Hunt ride.  As for SFNE, S:ROS is great, and B:DK will be intense.

B&M of New Jersey=best baked beans
B&M of Switzerland=best rollercoasters
Does anyone disagree and think I should go to SFoG?
GO TO SFOG. when is the next chance you'll get to ride a B&M flyer? We also have many other great attrations here, expecially Mind Bender and Georgia Cyclone. cant forget GASM (former tallest coaster in the world: 1973-1976), Georgia Scorcher (consitered by many to be the best B&M stand-up), deja vu, B:TR, dahlonaga mine train, acrophoba (tilts you 15 degrees forward before the drop, but trust me, it feels alot more than 15 degrees), and [sarcastically] the most painful coaster i've ever ridden: NINJA. but u can skip that ride.

SFOGeorgia.
Can't wait for Superman: Ultimate Flight
Drachen Fire, RIP: 1992-1998 Dismantled 2002

Yes, I was just going to say, when deciding against SFOG, take into account that they have 1 of 3 GIB's, the first American B&M flyer, an excellent stand-up (also an example of B&M's intensity) Batman:The Ride (B&M intensity) and perhaps most often overlooked-The Mind Eraser. I can tell you SFOG has a very fine collection of coasters, and with the addition of SUE, it's just that much sweeter. Of course on the other hand, SFNE's Superman is really popular among enthusiasts, and they're getting a stand up.
