Naming the CoasterBuzz mascot....

I want to make a minor suggestion, merely for the sake of comedy...(or not). Across from the TM on the buzz guy's face, right below where his chubby three-fingered right hand rests, what's the possibility of putting a gold star under there....then the logo/mascot guy could be named.....

...and his name would be....General Buzz (a one-star general, of course)...;)

That's not the point.

First, when I'm on the road on my laptop, a lot of these pop-ups crash the browser of my choice, invade my privacy, and the java slider doesn't work correctly and currupts the screen. (Heck, 3 pop-ups per page display is outrageous, this mind as well be a porn site!) I don't mind advertising one bit, when it's done right. Hell, I'll even click and make purchases now and then.

This used to be an enthusiast's site, now it's a business. (If it's not a business, I'd like to see the non-profit papers from the IRS.) I'd pay, but this site offers nothing of real value. Heck, remember the good ol' days when all you saw on the news here was NEWS, and not "Joe shmo uploaded pictures from last year at his cheesey site". Sorry, I won't pay for that. I can get that anywhere. And most of the time, news is posted on newsgroups before anywhere else. If I wanted to join a club, I'd join ACE again, or NAPHA.

So, I guess you're right, I guess I should just leave and shut up, or put my money where my mouth is. I think I'll go somewhere where there users are respected, and their privacy isn't violated.

Come on guys, like Jeff said his name is Buzzy! Even I remeber that.

However, I still want the name to be "I'm a crazy yelling dude with the biggest mouth in history." ;)
