Thank you!!!!
Both parks are pretty much done for the year. There may be a weekend or two, I'll call them before I go after Labor Day as a rule, but they usually do a weekend 4 on Friday and then 1 on Saturday, but they close as early as 8. The tourists leave us! There's not enough people in the area to keep them open as long as we want:).
Are these Parks any good i am plannin on visiting within the month.

The Pavilion is good. The others are so-so, but they all have a few good rides. The Swamp Fox at the Family Kingdom is a must-do, but not much else there is worth doing. The Pavilion is the only park in the area with a truly great collection of rides.

Both the Pavillion and Family Kingdom have a great "small park" atmosphere. Being situated on the ocean is also a big plus.

The Pavilion is amazing, the Hurricane is a great CCI, while not the best, it is a good seaside coaster. I haven't been to Family Kingdom yet but will be this summer. Can't wait to ride the Swamp Fox!

The Swamp Fox gives a lot of air. It is my favorite Myrtle Beach coaster. The Hurricane is fun, but painful. These parks are pretty lax so you can ride most of the rides over if no one is waiting(if you have an all ride pass). At Family Kingdom, I would just buy tickets since the only must do there is Swamp Fox. At Pavillion though, you should buy the all ride pass. There is enough to do there. At Pavillion, the Mad Mouse isn't the best wild mouse I have been on but it is an okay ride. While there you should also do their river rapids ride, the Hydro Surge. Let's just say it is full of surprises. You will most likely get soaked. Have fun!

Soaked on the Hydrosurge? That's an understatement. They basically drop you in a bucket of water, LOL. Your chances of coming off unsoaked are VERY slim. It's a very short ride, too, I didn't expect it when someone tricked me into getting on it. The Mouse is pretty wild, too. The only brakes that have ever been on are the last ones up top before the drop, & it doesn't feel like they grab you. You bang through that little course. Riding Riccochet @PKD was a much tamer mouse.

Also I am pretty big on dark rides and noticed that threre are three. The huanted hotel at the pavillion, the great pistelero sumtin at the family kingdom and the pirates of the carolinas dark ride at broadway at the beach. And i was wondering which of these are good and wats the deal with the carolinas one ist it a pop or ticket?

I don't know about the carolinas one but the Haunted Hotel and Pistelero Roundup are both worth riding. They are both very nicely themed, fairly long dark rides.

The Haunted Mansion thingy at Pavillion is fun. It isn't that scary but there is one good scare(more of a surprise). It is no Magic Kingdom Haunted Mansion but it is still fun. Surprisingly well themed for the park. There is a sort of cool part with these faces coming out of these masks(sorta hard to explain.)

Sounds cool. I can't wait.

Pirates of the Carolina's is must-not-do. Don't waste your time or money there. Although it does have some nice effects in it, it's not that great. Its just like Jocco's Mardi Gras Madness at Jazzland, just with different theming. You just ride through shooting at things with a lazer gun. Don't waste your time.

The Haunted Hotel at the Pavilion is very nice though. There are several "scary" things, but I have been on better. I do suggest however, if you do go to the Pavilion, ride it. Don't be fooled by the long line, it can go swiftly.

I'm going to Myrtle beach August 1-4. I'm going to go to the pavilion on 1 of those days. I've been to Myrtle Beach 2 times before, but it was during the winter and nothing was open. I also hope to ride XLR8R (double shot) or whatever it is at barefoot landing.

Actually XLR8R is only a small one shot S&S tower. It's really not that great. But its all up to you. Plus the tower itself is really only 40' maybe.

What park is that at?

Its at Barefoot landing. Another shopping place like Boardwalk on the Beach. It's not really at a park. It's just there.
