My thoughts and some screens.

Ok I kinda went AWOL from the RCT2 world there for awhile, but I had some well recieved coaster posted awhile back.

Anyway I was loooking forward to RCT3 and tried the Demo. While I have some of the same concerns you all have, I will definetaly buy it for some sweet fun.

I personally cant wait to ride some of Gonchars coasters hehe.

Anyway. Here are a few screens from my time in game.

I got a video of a different gully-running woodie, but its 20-30 Megs. Havn't chanced uploading it yet.

Oh well guess my site doesnt allow remote viewing.

Go here instead:

Interesting shots, although, I am getting some shots of my own this week. Oh, by the way, did you build that wooden coaster?

You should really consider converting the files from the BMP format to the much smaller sized JPG file compression. It'll cut down the size by many times.

Either way, upon viewing those links, this error occurs: "This file is hosted by Tripod, a Lycos®Network Site, and is not available for download. Please check out Tripod's Help system for more information about Remote Loading and our Remote Loading policy."

Looks like you probably exceeded the daily bandwidth, but either way, you should convert them to JPG for easier viewing!

try the second link he provided!

Can we turn this into a screenshot/vid thread? A place to post things until the full release arrives and CB Games starts trading RCT3 files.

I put up a couple of vids and screens on my site.

I'm actually interested in seeing what others are coming up with.

Cool beans...good idea Lord Gonchar

Here's some shots of a racing woodie test I did. It worked pretty much exactly the same way as previous versions. Right down to one side being more popular because the peeps get there first! The good thing about the cam control, is switching to the next train was smart enought to jump to the other track's train. Nice!

Screen 1 Yeah it's simple but it was only a test

Screen 2 First Run up lift

Screen 3 Peeps prefer this side more

Screen 4 On ride at Sunset

Screen 5 We're losing!

I might as well share my pictures as well.

I'm getting used to the game, slowly, but surely.

Jeff how did you get your scenario completely clear as well as make it look like a desert?

It's still me, here from the beginning back in 1999. Add 1500+ posts to the number I have in the info section if you care about such things.

Now that's what I call a headchopper!

Hi

Why can you have a 45mph chain lift?

Watch your head on that third drop!

Everybody duck.

Coming through a corkscrew.

One each.

BTW, Gonchar, how are you capturing the video? Is it within the game or a separate program?

(For that matter, how are you capturing screenshots? I'm doing the PIA print screen --> paste)

Hi

RTFM! ;)

F10 for screens

F11 for vids

Here's some new water splash screens I took now that I have updated my videocard driver. Things look MUCH better now:

Nighttime On-ride Splash

Morning On-ride Splash 1

Morning On-ride Splash 2

Morning Side view Splash

More screens full of bugs and fun...

Apparently trains dont' care if the track isn't complete. I had an invert crash when I took out my break run.

There are some shots of my 1000'+ woodie and "Uber-Extreme" Rating.

Also, the "peeps" (I really hate that term.) just walk right into the lowest seat on the Sky Wheel. At least gives us faster load times.

Dude... you have to link to the page in the album or we can't see it.

I don't know why I linked them individually. Fixed now...

Importing some old RCT2 wooden twisters.

Really liked the way Verdrehen looked:

Longways

From The Side

No banked turns in that one :)

Also, here's a 2 minute video (8.5MB) from an inverted coaster I did in RCT3. (might want to DL by right clicking and choosing "save target as")

What's up with the peep at the beginning of the vid? He's holding a camera and just waiting like he wants a shot of the train going through the cork. He then turns around and slumps his shoulders seemingly disappointed that the train isn't coming. When he does that, one blows through the cork. He then turns around in time to see it climbing the lift.

Comic relief in RCT3?

EDIT - Fixed links.

It's probably poking fun at all the losers that stand in one spot for three mintues with an aimed camera, ready to get a shot only to realize that the train isn't coming.

Guilty...
