MXC: Amusement Park Team

Hey Coaster Fans,

I was flipping through channels last night, and found MXC on SPIKE TV. For those that have not seen it, it's a VERY strange Japanese game show that is HEAVILY dubbed over for USA viewing pleasures.

Anyway, I know there are a lot of fans out there, and since there are always two teams playing each other, I got a kick out of it last night. They created a team called the Amusement Park. They had a QUITE a few funny jokes, and slamming SF, Disney World, and other things. Lots of funny amusement park jokes too. They usually reair an epsisode later on in the week, so make sure to check it out.

On a side note. Don't watch it unless you have a VERY open since of humor. Definetly not a kiddy show.

When I watched MXC for the first time I thought it was the dumbest thing in the world. Now whenever I'm flipping channels I stop to watch. I think my favorite "game" on that show would have to be the wall with 4 painted doors but only 1 real one. Yeah, I like to see people smack into walls... ;)

I've often wondered from time to time, how to write good poetry- and make it all... Work.

Funny, I like the Indiana Jones Adventure where contestants get crushed by a rolling *boulder*, and the Rolling Pin Log-rolling competition where you have to jump from one to another without getting your noggin flattened..."I'm sick, so sue me"...:)

Frank is an MXC fan too...Frank?

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

I like the stones one where you jump from stone to stone across the water. It's called 'Sinkers and Floaters' I believe. I'm sure you can all conclude what happens.
MXC Kicks some serious a$$!! Me and a few buddies of mine get together on Thursday nights at 9:00 and watch MXC until midnight!
"Wallbangers" which is the Wall with the doors is pretty good. I like "Sinkers & Floaters", "Dash to Death", "Rotating Surfboard of Death", "Brass Balls"... heck I like em' all. MXC RULES!! Long live Vic and Kenny!

Josh

See you on the Rails.
Yeah Im a MXC fan...Funnier than all heck !
I especially like the the event where the contestants jump across giant rollers on a small pond. I just cant remember what they call that event.....

My interest curve with the show is the exact opposite. When it first came out, I'd always try to catch it. However, week after week of the same thing wore thin and I haven't seen an episode in quite a while.

MXC not a kid's show? Don't tell my kids! They love the physical comedy, and most of the double entendres are so well-written they go right over their heads.

My favorite is the giant human Pachinko game...love this show!!

Back to you, Guy LaDouche...

What time is this show normally on?

mOOSH [to lazy to check SPIKE's website]

9-midnight on Thursdays and I think there's a Sunday showing. It's a great show, but for me it's a lot like amusement parks - I can't have too much of a good thing or I just get bored. But a couple of MXC episodes a month keeps me laughing hysterically!

Best game ever is the doors - you can't beat a person running full speed into a door they think is open ...

Thanks, Brett. I definitely have to watch this show!
I tend to agree with Gonch on this matter. It was funny for a while, but there's really no variety at all so it gets old real quick. I'll still watch it for a few moments if I happen to flip to it though, but I don't actively plan to watch it at all.

Oh man I love that show. I used to have it in my sig.

Those announcers are hilarious. I'll have to try and watch to see the amusement park team.

Gonch, I don't really regulary watch it so I think that's why it's kept my interest. Up until now I didn't even know what night it was on... :)

japanese people running full speed into inanimate objects or otherwise nearly getting their necks broken never gets old. and the dubbing is incredibly clever, if you listen to it carefulyl!
I absolutely love MXC. I was a fan since the show first started on Spike. I actually don't watch it often but if I happen to catch it on, I will watch. Gotta love it.

I love all the games, its hard to choose just one. I especially love the "Top 10 Eliminations of the Day."

The "dialogue" that comes from the mouths of Kenny Blankenship and Vic Romano leaves me laughing, crying, and cringing every time. Way too smart for it's own good.:)
The whole show makes me cringe in pain as I watch the Japanese people nearly paralize themselves. I am alergic to pain.

My favorite is the rollers.
