Mr Freeze

Ninja - I'm an equal opportunity jokester. Texans today, Rollergator tomorrow. Its just that there are two Texans in particular that seems to take things a little too seriously when it comes to their theme parks.

That's OK... I just heard that they're taking the "Mr." half of Mr. Freeze and combining it with the "Shock" half of Shock Wave, calling it "Mr. Shock." I wonder where it'll go...

Just curious, who might those two be?

Am I really that shy?

So I'm not the only one who noticed...

Here's to hoping SFEG gets Mr. and Shock next year. Maybe Six Flags can combine them to form Mr. Shock.

Mr. Shock! Ha! Dammit...why didn't I think of that in the first place? That would have been even better ;) Good work, guys!

Really.. no one thinks you're funny down here in Texas.

...that's odd....I heard everyone in SoCal thinks he's funny *down there*...;). This way, 'Moosh has a REASON to pick on 'gator tomorrow!

P.S. Thanks for the tip, PM...hostyl's had a lot of good things to say about Freeze...(but then again, he likes Herc)...just trying to draw him out from hiding...must be hanging on to the hem of T's skirt...;)

Mr. Freeze is definitely my favorite of the Premier coasters that I've ridden (Freeze, JJ, FoF, Speed, and both sides of Chiller). It's also the biggest rush at SFoT...well, except that 'headrush' you get in Titan's second helix.

Gator - I need a reason to pick on you?

Coasterfile - FreezeWave will most likely go to one of SF's C-level parks like Great Escape, SFEG, SFDL...you know, the ones who are treated better than Astroworld ;)

Enigma13: Have you ridden any other shuttles with a vertical spike? There's an awesome amount of airtime/weightlessness combined with freefall that Mr. Freeze doesn't have because of those stupid LIMs.

I've ridden several of the other coasters with vertical spikes (S:UE, VV, Deja Vu) and I can honestly say that none of them felt any better than Mr. Freeze (both versions). Actually, when I rode the StL version, I felt like I had an *extended* feeling of weightlessness *because* of the LIM placement. But you didn't expect *me* to agree with *you* didya ;)?

I've never really cared for many of the vertical spike shuttles as well. For some reason I don't feel a lot of negative Gs on the fall from the spike. I attribute that to the fact that the riders are falling backwards. I get much more of a weightless sensation on shuttles such as Monty, especially on the 70* rear spike.

That or you weigh too much to come out of your seat.
As my bumper sticker says, "Don't mess with Texas!" lol!

Nope. Nice try, tho. I didn't say I didn't feel any negative Gs, I said I feel more when falling forward. I don't expect everyone to agree.

Yes, I am slightly overweight - by about 20 pounds. But that's better than being devoid of a sense of humor. At least I can diet ;)

There is a difference between having a sense of humor, and being rude. Why just a few nights ago, Jeff Cook was giving me reasons why he doesn't consider you a friend anymore.

Maybe your sense of humor is weighing you down again, Moosh.

Part 1....not a REASON, just an opportunity...;)

Part 2...'Moosh is pretty damned funny, "I'll tell you what"...:)

All of my friends know that if I do something to make them angry all they have to do is tell me. If Jeff Cook didn't have the courtesy to discuss with me what his issues were than IMO it shows how little he valued our friendship to begin with, so his feelings are news to me. I'll take the first step and contact him so we can talk about it. If, after we talk, he no longer wants to be friends I can accept that. But you can't fix what's broken unless its discussed.
