Mouse coaster at Ohio State Fair

I won't be attending the Fair until at least the second week, as I'm leaving on a Midwest coaster vacation on Friday evening. When I go, I'll probably ride my bike to get there. I live on Oakland Park a block West of Maize. I'll just go down Reis to Hudson, Hudson to Hiawatha Park, down Hiawatha and under the underpass, through the parking lot, and lock the bike up right outside the gate.....

On my way down to PKI on Sat. I saw this. I thought it was a Reverchon from what I could see.

The midway is being supplied by Amusements of America, who have purchased a Reverchon Crazy Mouse, a Bertazzon Rock and Roll (Matterhorn), and a KMG Tango for the 2002 season. They also own a KMG Fireball and look to have a decent midway. Their website can be found here: http://www.amusementsofamerica.com

The Fireball is an amazing ride. They've been making significant upgrades to the Ohio State Fair midway package for the past few years, and last year they booked in the Mondial Shake and the KMG ReMix. The Shake ("Magnum") was a terrible ride. The ReMix is basically an inverted Orbiter, and quite frankly I like the Orbiter better 'cause it doesn't have the damn shoulder bars. A of A also has a Tivoli Spin-Out (basically a KMG Move-It 24) which is at least an interesting ride.

The last time I went to the fair, my wife watched me ride mostly. She was getting antsy, so we decided to have a nice relaxing ride on the double Ferris wheel.

Yeah right! It's loaded with airtime! My wife hated me!
