Most new coasters ridden in one year

How can you keep track of the number of coasters but forget the number of parks or find the number of parks "way too many to count?" I could see it the other way around (having a good idea of the number of parks, and losing track of coasters), but I can't understand this. After a visit to PKD, I could tell you I had visited 1 new park, but even two days later I had to stop and actually think about the number of coasters I was on.

Hey thanks Gonch! Interesting how it coincided with the giddy stock market.

30 new coasters at 6 parks this year for me. Last year was my best at 39 new coasters at 12 parks. I find it gets harder and harder each year to add more. We can't afford to jet around the country or the world for that matter, unlike some people I know ;)
I hit TTD and SUF, but I hit knotts, and a bunch of rides whic aren't new but new to me: Xcelerator, Millenium force, ghostrider, a boomerang, X, goliath, superman the escape, riddler, mantis, wildcat, basically all of the rides at Knotts, and all the rides put into cedar point and SFMM after 1994. 4 parks, plus USF, IOA, BGT, Disney world. not a bad traveling year for me (I live in orlando, so the other parks aren't exactly a haul)

Under reports click on 2002 or 2003 in order to see how many coasters opened that particular year. If you want to view an earlier year, change the part of the URL to whichever year you desire.

Best year so far for me, and especially since I live over in Asia, and haven't been over to Japan, yet. I hit SFGAm, CP, and I went to HW for the first time. Hadn't been to SFGAm for a while, so S:UF and V2 were both new to me, everything at HW, and Wicked Twister wasn't open last year, and of course TTD. Hoping for some more next year.

as always,
Vote Bob.

27 new coasters, 38 with my upcoming trip in 3 days. 3 new parks, 4 if you count my upcoming trip in 3 days. It was my first trip to CP, PKI, SFWOA and soon SFGAm

My biggest year too. 14 Cedar Point coasters and 4 DisneyWorld coasters (brings my total to about 30). Added 5 new parks (brings that to 9). Not a lot but I'm also not that old.

Pretty easy, the reason is I know my coaster count went from about 20 to about 80... and basically I'm just too damn lazy to count the exact amount of coasters and parks I went to.:)

I hit 28 diffrent coasters this year (16 of them new to me) and 1 new park (Cedar Point). This is the best that I can do living in Canada as a 16 year old kid whose parents don't like roller coasters all that much. I had over 75 laps at least though.

Roller coasters are more than just rides, they're a reason for living

Once again....I count coasters not parks....esp since some of the coasters are basically the park (Jeepers, Dinorex ect..) Simply put I don't care how many new parks or parks total I have been to.

I hate you all! :)

I only got in 9 new coasters and three new parks this year. Considering I just got a job with an airline though and can fly free now, then next year it is on!

I had 2 new parks (CP and VF) this year, hoping to get 3 or 4 next year (SFGAm in May) and then some Vegas coasters, and LA parks for honeymoon (if we go there).
