chris - take a pair of smelly gym socks, fill them with concrete, place them 1" on either side of your head, then bang your head repeatedly between them.
At SFStL they did add padding to the OTSR's, but all that did was make the "horse blinder" effect worse and bring the stink closer to your face :(
As for Sonny and The Legend, they were already damn fine coasters so their *improvement* was minimal (save the shorter waits for The Legend).
If I had to pick one that suprised be the most in a positive way it'd have to be SFA's Wild One for wood and SFGAdv's NITRO for steel. Both coasters this year exhibited air of a more extreme nature than my previous rides; especially Wild One. Both coasters give a more than ample amount of "butt off the seat" time.
In fact, I think I need to hit Wild One one more time....

Gerstlauers over PTCs?? I hope you have a high tolerance for goons, chris....goons!
Moosh - excited about tomorrow ;-)

chris - while its too late for this year, maybe I should create "goons" cards for next year? Halloween, perhaps? LOL!
Moosh - who expects his goons to make appearances every now and then to keep chris in check ;-)

M Darling - sorry 'bout that! chris and I do have a way of hijacking threads and taking them off-topic, don't we? I'm still thinking about who gets my vote....

If Grandpa: The Ride doesn't have enough juice for just one rider, then how could it possibly thrill a full train?
It may take a relocation to SFAg to pull off such a feat!
And that, fellow coaster dweebs, would require serious consideration in the MIP votes.
chris, trying to get my hijacked thread back on track, sort of at least. ;-)

LOL, chris...you win this round ;-) But I'll bend over backwards to win next time!!

You'll bend over backwards? Kinda like a Top Hat?
That's the kind of Valentine I've always wanted.

Definitely the Premier lapbar retrofits. I'm torn between which made the bigger difference down here, Mr Freeze at Six Flags Over Texas or Poltergeist at Fiesta. Freeze went from lawsuit-inviting painful to the most fun ride in the park, and we used to call Poltergeist "Mike Tyson: The Ride". Both are like brand new coasters, it's incredible.
