For the most expensive Id have to say SD2K which they said ran about 50 million.

As for Intamin, probably a tie between Millennium Force and TTD at 25M.

As for B+M, I have no Idea but Im going to guess the Hulk

I bet the Intamin Plug and Plays cost the most for woodies? Or Son of Beast.

Old arrows might be rough, but they are the most gorgous rides to date.

I dunno Code, whenever I heard talk of SD2K, they always said, the most expensive NON THEMED coaster ever built at $51,000,000. They would leave the NON THEMED part out if it was THE most expensive coaster ever built. I'm guessing the most expensive one ever built was probably a Disney coaster with the mountains they do. Possibly a Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road.

Warning: I do not think like the average person. My remarks have plenty of thought behind them. Take it for what it's worth, if you disagree, please, feel free to express it, but don't put me down because of it.

Yeah, now that I think of it, that was what was said. I wonder what the most expensive overall is.

Wasn't it the Paris Space Mountain at $52,000,000 (for themed)? That's what I recall hearing.

The most expensive non themed was indeed SD2K, as for themed, it was probably a Disney coaster. Anybody know how much Expedition Everest(or whatever it's called) is going to cost?

------------------
1. Top Thrill Dragster
2. Raptor (without trims)
3. Millenium Force
4. Incredible Hulk
5. Kumba

In 2006, Expedition Everest will become the most expensive roller coaster ever built at 100 million dollars. (Disney, of course)

Quoted from RCDB:

"This will become the largest ride in Walt Disney World at a Cost of $100 million (USD).

The ride will travel both forwards and backwards.

The height of the attraction is said to be nearly 200 feet. This is probably referring to the height of the mountain and the track will be somewhat lower."

Space Mountain: From the Earth to the Moon. Theming, ride, trains, etc. for the "cheap" sum of 100 millions.

Costiest Intamin? I feel that whould be California Screamin at DCA... I heard numbers of over 35 to 40 millions $ for that ride!

Another one is Euro Mir at Europa Park. I heard the number of 35 millions $ for that.

I have a hunch that 'Thunder Dolphin' is going to end up being the most expensive Intamin, between engineering cost, earthquake proofing, and strange construction needs (Like going on top of a mall and through a ferris wheel)

If memory serves, didn't Arrow overshoot the agreed upon cost of X? I seemed to remember that it hit a price beyond what SF had agreed on, and Arrow ate the rest of the cost, as well as not getting their final payment in the first place, driving them into bankruptcy. If I remember this correctly, I wonder what the final cost of the ride was?
