in the parks some coasters are misssing to put in my track record such as roadrunner express and racer backwards. remember i think alot of this site and im just putting in a suggestion.
On racers like PKI's and PKD's I add them twice since each can be run independately from the other. Where as Kennywoods Racer only counts as one since it is a single circuit racer. I also counted the Lightning Racer as two (Thunder and Lightning sides.

You can freely add duplicates to your track record. I'm not going to get in to a debate about what counts as one and what is two.

Don't forget that if you think a coaster is missing, go ahead and submit it for approval. If it is truly missing from the system it will be added.

thanks for the input guys.
Your coaster page is missing the Vekoma Boomerang located in Trimper Rides at Ocean City, Md. Your coaster page is also missing the Pinfari Looping Zyklon located at Pier Rides in Ocean City, Md.
Also I would suggest add a defunct coaster list to the group such as the Python at Adventure World or the King Cobra at Kings Dominion. Just something to show on the track record.
Don't just suggest additions, CONTRIBUTE them.
Regarding defunct rides, I'm working on something.

Since we are on the "track record" section of the suggestions, would it be possible to have the number of rides per each coaster listed next to the coaster's name? I realize this would again be on the honor system for members to keep their own records. Just a thought.

Gotta ride 'em all!
I have no clue how many times I have ridden roller coasters in the past. I bet I've ridden the Magnum at least 50 times.;) I do know that I've ridden the Millenium Force 3 times. :)
Jeff, if you do a defunct rides thing, would something like Nightemare at Boblo Island be on it, even though it was moved and is now the Mayan Mindbender at SF Astroland?

I think this site would be better if there were more pictures of the coasters. I know that is a lot to ask for but it will make this site better. Also this is the best site for information on roller coasters.
Jeff If you wanted to add pics to the coasters on each individual page just for a little reference of what the coaster looks like I would be able to contribute pics of some of the coasters down here in the SE. I have pics of BGTB, SW, SFOG, WA, IOA, PCA, and SFSTL of all of the coasters at these parks. I am sure you have plenty of pics as well but with the number of people that are on this site I am sure you would have no trouble getting pics of every coaster.

I can't believe the coaster list does not include the longest and one of the most under-rated coasters in the world - The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley, England! Why???
This coaster is probably the best in in the UK because of its sheer length of ride duration.
Contribute it, get all the stats you can for the ride, then go to the "contribute" section. Jeff will add it if all the info is there and accurate.

Gotta ride 'em all!
Missing: Saury at Mundo Divertido in Tijuana, Mexico. At least, it's there & I THINK it's running.
I submitted the info for the Ultimate over a week ago. Still no sign of it on the coaster list....
I haven't had a lot of time to go through the queued items. I like to verify every item to make sure it's for real, as does the other person who looks at them.

As for defunct rides, I kind of like what was done for The Bat at Kings Island. It says the coaster name and then (Defunct) next to it. There are several coasters on the Worlds of Fun page that look like their still standing.
Since I don't know exactly what your plan is for defunct coasters, I'll just suggest that you add the (Defunct) next to the coaster name like it shows for The Bat at King's Island.
Just a suggestion.
MambaMatt
Oh, I tried emailing a correction about a coaster into webmaster@coasterbuzz.com and it returned as undeliverable. Its no biggie. I just wanted to let you know that Windstorm at Branson USA has been renamed Firestorm.

Just remember, if a coaster doesnt exist at a park anymore doesnt mean its defunct. Try to see if it was moved to another park and than add it to your coaster record, even if its operating under a different name.
the roller coaster database is a good source for stats on most US coasters. www.rcdb.com
