More Coaster Dreams...

LOL! LOL!

I am surprised Chuck E Cheeses don't have kiddy coasters. Just expand it, put in a ton of more games, and you will have a Jeepers.

An X Jr. perhaps?

When I was a kid I dreamt about having a private day at Noah's Ark (Wisconsin Dells waterpark) with my friends and the 3 hotties in Duran Duran (Simon, John, and Nick). That still doesn't sound like a half-bad day. :)

Now I know why we get along so well, Dawn! You rock girl!

I had plenty of fantasies about the DD boys as well back in the day. Oh who am I kidding I still do, but now we are old enough to where they won't be arrested. WE could be arrested for stalking though. LOL!

I saw them at PKI a few years ago, and yes I still remembered ALL the words to all the old songs. ;-) Some I hadn't thought about or heard in years. Scary.

I remember having DD fantasies, but those were on the boat from the Rio video, and not about Rio! These days the dream would be with the Modest Mouse boys Issac, Eric and Jeremiah, Probably on a nice woodie w/ Buzz Bars! And Matt, it could be, but why not just cut to the chase w/ a nice spin on Whizzer ;-)

Purple son of beast that had a corkscrew where the train never made it thru but landed back on the track. Thats my weirdest. I was also holding a refirdgerator box going up the hill but I tossed it over. As far as offseason dreams I keep having stuff where im about to go to a park or about to ride something. Something always happens to keep me from riding stuff. :< (Really sucks when they just finished lap bar checks and you wake up)

Been around for awhile...

*Bump*

I had a dream last night that really freaked me out once I woke up - more because of how real it was!

I was in line for X with my friends, except the station looked a lot like BTMRR in Disney Orlando, cause out the windows before we went "downstairs" I could see the towering structure of Joker's Jinx (which ironically I've never seen except in that No Limits recreation that's floating around somewhere). I was going on the whole time trying to convince two of my friends that they really did want to ride this thing. When we went past the BTMRR windows, we went through a series of ramps and into pre-boarding queues that were identical to Dudley Do Right at IoA, down to the talking animals on the wall, except X trains kept pulling up instead of logs. Now the realistic part is that we rode 3 times in a row, and every time, I knew the layout of X ... I was flipping and turning and braking and everything like I knew that ride like the back of my hand ... except I'm from Pittsburgh and I've only ever ridden X twice! And when I woke up, not only was I absolutely on the adrenaline high that draws me to this hobby (so needless to say I was up *real* early this morning), my bed was a complete mess and the sheets were everywhere. Apparently I wasn't just thinking that I was flipping and such! Freaky ...

I had a dream a few nights ago that I was at Cedar Point opening weekend. All of the rides were in different locations though and it was kinda weird. I don't remember much other than that. I guess this winter is really dragging on if we are all starting to have dreams about coasters and our favorite parks.

#1 Steel: Sky Rush
#1 Wood: Voyage
#1Park: Holiday World

I had a dream that my school went to Dollywood about two weeks before Thunderhead opened. Luckily they were doing test runs with human riders. I got in this big grandstand and they called people's names out to ride it. The people were for some reason making acceptance speeches even though they were randomly drawn. I got picked, and went on to the station. The frst half of the ride was a blur, but then the coaster turned into an SSX Tricky course, and we did jumps and turns around cliffs.

------------
I haven't played that game since.

Way back in 1983 I started working at Kennywood on The Pirate, which stood right next to The Laser Loop. Many, many nights I would dream about all sorts of terrible things happening to the Loop. It would fly of the track, the supports would collapse; one night the entire station was on fire.

About 2 weeks ago I dreamt that Kennywood finally got that B&M invert that we've been hoping and hoping for! The supports were dark purple and the track was bright yellow.

The station was were the Gran Prix is now. It went along Kennywood Boulevard towards the Turnpike ride (which was taken out) and back towards Phantom's Revenge. The Gran Prix, Bayern Kurve and Musik Express had all been relocated to Lost Kennywood.

It was a pretty cool looking ride. I didn't ride it in the dream, but people were walking around saying it was "better than Raptor".

Also, I didn't see what the trains looked like and I don't know what it was called. All in all, a pretty good dream though!

Lovely stories everyone... I've really enjoyed reading them. I tend to have coaster dreams every night... as a matter of fact, I tend to be someone who can recall their dreams with a great deal of accuracy and because I also tend to act out some of the motions, I tend to be a very violent sleeper - allthough not a sleepwalker for some reason... anyway.

Favorite Coaster dream: I'm in Las Vegas, except that instead of it being just a gaming capital it is also the Theme Park Capital of the world. East of the "strip" is a whole section of parks (like what MGM tried to do). Almost all of them have at least one roller coaster - most of them wood. I have had this dream so often that I can almost remember the geography from the LAST time I had the dream... it's weird. But, the other night, I dreamt of SFMM except that if you went through a door near where Flashback is, you would be magically transported to ... CEDAR POINT! Now THERE's a good use for that pile of junk eh? So, my wife and I are in the dream walking back to the car and she says, let's explore this new area... ZING! We're at Cedar Point. Now, I have never BEEN to CP, but I have lots of pictures and maps of it so my dream CP is based on those... we go on Wicked Twister, only it is enclosed and jets of water are spraying the riders throughout the ride... kind of like if you did Flying Super Saturator / Wicked Twister as a mix. Then we stood in dryers at the exit queue to get our cloathes dry and left... then I woke up. It was COOL. Also, I think that Wicked Twister with water jets might actually be kinda do-able in the real world. The enclosed part would be sort of weird...

Keep em coming! We got only our dreams to tide us over until the parks open again!

Well that can usually be achieved naturally as in anything short of lightning, the Ohio impulses both run ;)

I will say, its quite fun to come off WT or S:UE soaking wet, but on those spikes, that rain stings! But it doesn't make it any less fun! Talk about a hoot ...

LOL, X did get you excited :)

Well, I did find the ride better than having "relations"....well then again there was that one time in band camp.

Fate is the path of least resistance.

Heh - I should read my own posts eh? That wasn't what I was referring to - more like I almost broke my neck falling out of my bed cause I was tossing and turning in my sleep.

Actually I didn't find X or any other coaster *that* exciting. *** Edited 2/5/2004 10:50:54 PM UTC by Impulse-ive***
