Mist Filled Tunnels (Good or Bad?)

I do not recall ever being in a fog filled tunnel. I like the smokey last tunnel on Magnum though. I wear contacts. When I rode LNM they didn't have any special effects in the tunnel.

As a long time contact wearer, I can say I hate them. I wore them until I was about 19 or 20 and discovered that I can see much better through a good pair of glasses. If you've ever been on a ride and had your contact do something crazy, that's no fun. I haven't had mist problems with the glasses (Loch Ness only one I've done since and I think it's weak), but I have done water rides with them and been able to see just fine...prescription sunglasses are the way to go. The tint seems to help v/s regular lenses, not to mention keeping them cleaned with defogger spray.

Mist tunnels are great especially on Hulk and Top Gun. I thought kraken was suppost to have one but if it did it wasn't on when i was there. I have worn sunglasses on top gun and it did not bother me. It feels great on a hot day too.

There have been rumors about it, but from the pictures I have seen, it looks like the construction of the tunnel has begun. Some are suggesting that they might have to dig a trench and then cover it, but the tunnels is going to be there regardless of how they do it.

Love the smoke hate the mist. I agree with everyone else the mist on Superman in New England was insane the day I rode with ShiveringTim.
