Sure looks like it. The thing is, to me, the ride building looks surprisingly small. Has to be some sort of stationary simulator, because when I was at EPCOT last spring, I was amazed at how little they had vertically (and the shape of the building is a bit different too, certainly not for economy of space.)
My guess is that the ride vehicle/path is quite small, and if not, the majority of the ride absolutely has to be underground.

I'm sitting shiva for CCI.
Mission space isn't going to be the fastest anything. It's going to be centrifugal based. You are not going to be weightless, WDI is calling it "simulated weightlessness."

First, it's centrifuge, not centrifugal.
Next, it is. Four of them. Each has, if I recall, something like 12 pods.
They spin up, it exerts a positive force on your body. Lift-off.
They slow down at a rate that's somehow related to your body's inertia - in such a way as to simulate weightlessness. It's not true weightlessness, but it's a close approximation.
That's my theory, anyway.
