Michigan's Adventure-Live up to the CF Rep?

bummer, doesn't sound like this year then....maybe when LTD turns 200?
MiA sucks!
The Wolverine Wildcat is unfinished busness as far as retracking is concerned. Some of the roughest track was in the trick track. This has been COMPLETELY replaced. The rest of the coaster has only had structural work. Most of the 4X6 structure has been changed to 6X6 stock. Retracking is another story. I am sure that in the next 2 years you will see improvements because of retracking, but right now only 1/10 of the ride has actual brand new wood under the steel. CF had 2 people attend Timberfest. Both were anxious to try WW to see if it had improved. Of course they were both dissappointed when they found that only part of it had been fixed so far.

If, one fine day, I have children, I will dole them out to enthusiasts so that they may all ride the off limits kiddie coasters. Then, I will be known as the "credit pimp."

I would say the food is lacking. CP has really spoiled me on that one!

I visite the park pre-CF and post-CF and i noticed "some" improvements, not much. I was impressed with WW this time around. Timbers alone makes me want to come back again and again. The Mouse is really cool, identical to the one at Myrtle Beach Pavilion. I love the new corkscrew look, it always appeared to be so rickety, but with a fresh coat of paint it looks great. The park has great potential has great potential.

Hehe I hvae another question reguarding the crowds in the park next week. Can someone tell me what it's like? Is it very crowded during the week? I don't know what exact day I'm going.
The park will be extremely busy for the first hour until the water park opens. Then it slowly empties. You will find the shortest lines midday as everyone heads to the water park. Later when the waterpark closes the amusement park stays open. There are lines then , but fairly short waits.
I was there this past wednesday and the longest wait the whole day was 15-20 min. for ST and Mouse. The last hour or two the park emptied out, ST was just about a walk on. Also a bit of advice on food, bring your own or go to Carousel Grill. It's the same hamburger, chicken or hot dogs that are in the park but it has a fixin's bar that we didn't see anywhere else.
