MF: Me thinks its time for a love thread

I dunno, MF has been getting so much flack lately, I thought it was just time. So, man do I ever love Millennium Force! Riding at night, the sheer speed, that breath taking first drop, the sheer speed, the airtime, the over banked turns, the sheer speed, the tunnels, the sheer speed...yes, I do declare there is a special place in my heart for Millennium Force.

And since you have entered this love thread, I know you already love MF just as much as I do. So, lets all rejoice!

Yep, I love it. Although I've only had one ride on it.... way back in May 2000.

Speed is the best thing about a coaster as far as I'm concerned. So I love all the ground-level full-on speed. It's kinda cool to swirl around the otherwise inaccessible island, and the overbanked turns feel ... unnatural. That's good.

The little airtime hill near the end is just a kicker. Not necessary, but I'm glad it's there!

I love it, but I love Raging Bull more !!

Current favorite coasters:
Wooden: 1) Beast 2) Raven 3) Son of Beast 4) The Boss 5) Timber Wolf
Steel: 1) Raging Bull 2) Millennium Force 3) V2 4) Wild Thing 5) Mr. Freeze

That little airtime hill is one of the most natural yet thrilling things I've ever felt on a coaster. It just brings you up....you stay there for a second....and then it sits you back down. I mean, how lovely is that, you know?

oh i love MF ever so much, its by far my favorite. too bad i live in AZ....
Ravenguy, I agree. Compare that to Magnum, where you have, what, 6-7 airtime hills in a row? If I wanted airtime over and over and over again, I'd ride a Trabant or a Flying Carpet. MF intricately weaves in an appropriate spot of airtime into its masterful layout.

Add me to the list of MF connoisseurs as well.

And, I might add, it is perfectly acceptable to love more than one coaster. It's not like you've got to marry the thing...

Without the chaindog, you'd never get up the lifthill...

Millennium Force is the best coaster ever, without a doubt. Second place - Blue Streak. Intamin is the best! (speaking exclusively about coasters here - not very familiar with all of the manufacturers of flat rides and their own qualities... just know I'd like more flat rides, cause theyre getting so d@mn cool)

*whispers* eh, yeah, well, i still prefer Maggie to Millie....but

Hey! That's besides the point! This is a Milliennium Force love thread! Must focus! Must focus! :)

Quite simply perfection. The only roller coaster that still scares me. Velocity, smoothness, intensity...the overbanked turns, the tunnel, the queue fly-by...can you feel the love yet?

Doesn't it seem as though morons always have the caps lock on?

It is my favorite steel coaster. I was very disappointed when I went to the first week of Millennium Mania last year only to find out that it would not be running that week. But with airline, hotel, car rental, vacation days, and a continuation of this trip to KBF and SFMM it was all too much to change. Besides, I had ridden it just two weeks prior as part of my family's annual trek to CP. This year, I'm just waiting for CoasterMania on June 7 with 2 full hours of ERT. One can only ride Magnum so many times in a row during "MillenniumMania". I hope CoasterMania makes up for it.
Oh yeah, the music in the station! How could I forget that? Oh yes, that wonderfully monotonous but somehow mesmerizing doodoodoodoodoodoodoodoodoodoodoodoo....

Millie fan here!

Good Times!! Good Times!!

MF is by far the best steel I have eevr ridden. I know people say it is overhyped, and so forth, but it really is amazing. The timing, speed, layout, drops, and turns are just so masterfully crafted. Long live the best front seat ride ever!

I love it. I love how the speed feels like it keeps up all the way until the end. SD2K didn't even feel like that!

I love MF, the sheer awesomeness of leaving the station and turning around and looking at the rest of CP from the lift hill. Then the amazing first drop and the way the coaster keeps it speed through the rest of the course is awesome. The worst part of that coaster(as is most coasters)....the brakes.

I can't think of a good signature.

mmmmm.......Millennium Force....... God i love that coaster. I don't know what it is about this coaster (other than the awesome speed, the overbanked turns, the psychotic first drop, the catapulting airtime, the beautiful cable lifthill, and the amazing sensation you get from the ride) but I love this beautiful 6595ft peice of twisted blue metal.

Dang it!!! You got me drooling again!

I've never ridden it, but it looks like a lot of fun. Can't wait until I can finally get to CP for a few days...

It's pretty obvious to see how much I love Millennium Force. All you have to do is look at my CoasterBuzz member picture...lol

Millennium Force - Any other questions?

MF is terrible and uncreative, it only has a good drop with way too many overbanked turns
