Message ID's...

How about assigning a unique message ID to each post and having that message ID come up as a <NAME> tag in the displayed thread. That way, it would be possible to provide a URL not just to a particular thread, but to a particular message within the thread. In the discussion right now about Holiday World's drink program, for instance, Jeff said something about, "Didn't someone mention that HW raised the gate price when they offered the free sods?". With the tag in place, one could post a link directly to the comment in question (which in this case happens to be in the same lengthy thread).

That's not a bad idea. Perhaps after v5.0... I've put a "code freeze" on that version so I can get the damn thing out the door already!
