15 people. They are loud...but small. (Small in many ways.) On the upside, I saw hundreds, if not thousands of people walking past PRIDE displays at Disney Springs and either not caring about or embracing those displays.
Yesterday DeSantis said something like, "You can't have one faction of society weaponizing the power of the state against factions that it doesn't like."
Really? You don't say?
"You can dream, create, design, and build the most wonderful place in the world...but it requires people to make the dreams a reality." -Walt Disney
DeSantis certainly didn't send those people, but if people that terrible are trying to co-opt your brand, you know, you might want to clarify the situation.

A month or so ago I was driving down I-4 and saw these guys on the overpass as I passed by the Mall at Millenia exit. What year is it again?

Im certain DeSantis does not support Nazis. But both Him and Trump won’t condemn the behavior because they don’t want to lose votes. So they just stay quiet…..
So I clicked through to see the photo of these intellectuals.
Yeah, that's not even worth acknowledging.
But I have two questions:
1. What (who?) is at the top of the Butt ****er sign?
2. If I'm driving by in general traffic and I see that group, I'd think it was a group of pro butt sex nazis based on the view in that photo. (I'm really stuck on the Butt ****er sign)
Shades:
silence
Well not really. They just play political games. Staying silent is a better strategy to take than saying anything publicly.
I highly doubt DeSantis supports anything these hate idiots do.

It's a great strategy if you want to court the nazi voting block.

They are projecting. They are all butt ****ing pedos until someone proves me wrong.
Ok, I like a joke as much as the next guy but as a Catholic who has had a number of excellent priests,,,this is a bit offensive.
Was it more offensive than the Catholic priests that raped little boys and the Catholic Church covering it up?
GoBucks89:
There were catholic priests in that group?
And youth pastors...
It's not appropriate to suggest that all leaders of the faith are pedophiles. The institution most certainly failed, on that I'm sure we can all agree, but generalizing about the character of all priests isn't OK.

If publicly condemning Nazis makes you lose votes, maybe you don't want those votes in the first place.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
Give me a frickin break. People paint with broad brushes all the time here. You are one of the biggest offenders.
And if making a joke about any group of people means that it must be true about all members of such group, there can be no jokes about any group of people.
Had more catholics taken offense to what the church was doing (from the priests all the way to Rome) in terms of destroying hundreds of thousands of lives across the globe for decades (instead of taking offense to a joke on the intrawebs), there would be far less occurrences of such jokes (and much more importantly, far fewer lives destroyed). WWJD indeed.
Priest jokes were common 4+ decades ago when I was in catholic school. Everyone knew the half nelson, full nelson, father nelson joke. And that was decades before the abuse scandals broke. One of the priests from my school was later convicted of abuse at another school (don't know anyone from my school that was abused but would expect there were some). Local bishop who admitted (under oath) to transferring multiple priests who had committed abuse (without telling new parishes) after he learned abusing priests could not be "cured" went on a heroes parade of the diocese when he retired (when he should have gone to prison).
Without question there are good priests. And without the coverup, there would be much less of an issue. But the old saying "a few bad apples" is often true. A lot of hypocritical talk of accountability in some cases but not in others. That isn't shocking but its incredibly ironic coming from certain people.
